Love this set. The pencil with notepad is perfect for list making, taking down info from a phone call or jotting notes. I prefer pencil rather than pen because you can erase rather than whiteout or scratch out pen mistakes. Also the pencils have cute designs. These would be cute to give away as little gifts to friends or even students. Awesome!
I can't believe 81 did not like this tutorial. It is the BOMB cute!! I love it. These will definitely make great stocking stuffers @ Christmastime, and gifts for anytime of the year. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! xo Amber
You are so welcome, my dear, Amber, but the cost of the shipping on the ClearBags site is outrageously expensive. I've gotta find another way. ClearBags is not it.
I am not saying it is a kind thing to rate a video poorly for it, but it does take a long time to get into it.
Finally something I can make that uses all those $1 pencil packs I buy. ;) TFS!
You explain things better than anyone on RUclips! My daughter and I are going to make these for my grandkids stockings! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! That’s so kind of you to say! xo Amber
LOVE. Thanks for sharing everything including the price you set for the craft event. This is very helpful.
I absolutely love these! if I could make a suggestion, it would be to add a magnet to the back for the fridge. I would get more use out of if.
I'm loving this series you have done and are continuing to do. Will you please update your videos in the description after your craft fairs to tell us how well the items sold and for what price point sold the best? Thank you.
Thanks for the clear instructions. I belong to several groups, so I need to get started looking for the pads and pencils! It’s a really cute craft.
Thank you Amber for this tutorial... I am getting ready for the beginning of school and made these for my students. I know this project is old but I would like to know if you ever did anything with the little thin strip of the pad that was left over. I don't now what to do with them. Thanks a lot for your ideas and easy to follow tutorials.
Like all your tutorials! Very inspiring. Thank you so much.
Once again a great video!!! Your crafts are amazing!!! This is exactly the kind of crafts I am wanting to make and sale. Thank you for always giving us your prices.
I made a bunch of just the pencil packages last night. Very easy and they look so good.
This idea is beautiful and you can give it is as a present a for coworkers, teacher or even students. Thanks for the tutorial and for sharing.

Amber this series has been so helpful for me!!! This is the first year that I'm going to be selling at craft fairs. I've been wanting to do it for years but haven't. These videos have really given me the inspiration to give it a go...I'm especially excited to be using so much of my never ending, always growing stash lol Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and projects! :)

Linda Lapotka You're so sweet, Linda...thank you! xo Amber
I know this was 2 years ago, so I hope that you charge more than $3.00 today. That does not seem like enough after you buy the pencils, note pad, and other materials plus the time it takes to make it. You should charge $6.00
love buying craft stuff from people on line can't wait. I'm a new subscriber sent from Halie's channel. I loved all the stuff you sent in for the swap amazing. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Rhonda Snair Thank you so much, Rhonda! :) Amber

Thanks for sharing this awesome tutorial Amber! Lots of inspiration to draw from! Michaels also has pencils they like to put out on clearance for cheap to be on the lookout as well! I believe as low as 50 cents for 6. Crafty hugs, Siv
What a wonderful idea! Love these.
such a cute teachers gift idea!!
Thanks
Love this tutorial! Great idea for my Christmas gift bags, so went out and got supplies, then went to Staples for my pads, purchased them, then asked for them to cut them for me as per your instructions. They said it would cost me $5.00 per table to cut them. So was really bum! so got a refund on the pads, because I could not pay a price for the cuts...
Where do you get you bags for these?
amber.. jsut swining by to say hi.. i just came by from haileys video!!
i love this idea.. definately can not wait to see your ideas.. i just love how you put everything together in your tutorials.. everything alwaya turns out so good!! cant wait to see the rest!
i know i said it before but these are so so cute as is all your projects, so impressed
I just love these!!!! Could we take the ribbon around the notepad too?
I found the clearbags site. There are so many similar sizes. Please .... which ones did you order. Don't want them too big to look sloppy. Too small has its own set of problems. Sure can't afford to have to order twice.
I do so love your tutorials.
Sam Gossett I ordered 2 3/4 x 8 1/2. Link to the website is in my description box. Thanks for watching! :) Amber
Great minds think a lot! I am doing Halloween ones 3 pencils, sharpener and couple erasers. I think I will steal the note pads idea!
Alike not a lot! I am sure we think a lot too!

Hey Amber, Halie sent me over here but guess what, I've already been here. I'm glad you're doing another craft fair series.. Love them!
You can also add a magnet on the back to put on the refrigerator or any metal surface. I've made a similar project and everyone lived them!

How many do you plan on making for your show? What is the turn out? I am doing my first in Nov. and they said they had 500 turn out last year. Of course you have to assume they are telling the truth. Love the video. Can't wait to see what else you show. Gloria

😂😂😂 Lol I asked the question to early in the video 🤗that is really lots of work for little money. I always end up with leftover of school supplies, I think I'm going to do similar packaging n sell it 👍🏽thank you for the great inspiration as usual.
cool
These are adorable, Amber. Tfs Hugs, Shell
I bought my supplies and can’t wait to make mine. Staples does charge to cut the paper. They charged me $22.00 for them to cut 18 memo pads. Still not a bad price😊
Hi! Been a subscriber for a while and I love your previous craft fair series so I am so excited for this year! You have such great ideas! 💜
absolutely adorable! you are a genius!
Have you seen any Fall related sticky notes and page flags? I can't find them anywhere.

Valerie Anglemyer Thank you so much, Valerie! :) Amber
after seeing this video, i'm definitely a subscriber. great videos!
Love your stuff. I would like to make stuff like u do. Where do u get card stock cheAply?
love these so much
So cute and easy to do. I didn't know Staples will cut down pads. I've got to remember that tip!
The only thing I would change is to have the pencils match my papers. Depending on my stash or price of new items, I could buy pencils to match my papers, paint the pencils in my stash or paint or gesso the pencils white then cover them in washi to match the papers.
Dollar Tree pencil erasers on their pencils are often of iffy quality. They crumble or erase very poorly. If you want return customers, I'd make sure the pencils are of decent quality.
Hi Amber! I've been a subbie for quite some time but this time I'm showing you and Halie some love 💖💖 love your videos and tutorials tfs
So cute love that idea
I'm sorry to bother you, but how do you get the notepad cut in half so perfectly? I love the idea and your creativity!!

Super cute! I look forward to watching more
cmsnt40 thanks so much! :)
Thank you for sharing your ideas. I would like to add one thing that might be helpful. I started to think in terms of what I would buy at a craft fair. I tend to go for small items under 10 dollars, as we are on a somewhat tight budget. But if it had to do with notepads, I would be more inclined to buy them with pens instead of pencils. Though people, especially younger people, might go for the pencils. Also, I would be more likely to pick up a set I could stick on my fridge. I tend to need a place to jot notes most by the phone, making grocery lists, etc. So, I was thinking, Walmart has those giant rolls of magnet (self sticking too...though I'd reinforce with hot glue anyway,) for just a few dollars. Anyone could just snip a couple pieces off, hot glue them to the backs of both the pencil/pen holder, AND to the back of the notepad, and you then have something that most note sets do not. You have both a writing tool holder AND the notepad to stick on the fridge. If I saw them at a fair, I would definitely go for that and pick up a few in different styles, as that would be most useful to me. The magnets would make them worth the 3$, for me. =) Also having the choice of pens or pencils, or perhaps even a mix of both, would definitely tip it over the edge. Hope that helps somehow. =)
Great ideas, love the holder. Again, thanks for sharing! =)
Great ideas. Think you should make a video? I do!
Great idea cute and fun TFS
These are awesome. Thank you.
omg these are adorable... tfs.. would love to make these for xmas goodie bags...
Wandy's Sweets I
Those ended up so cute! Looking forward to more tutorials :)
HI!, stopping in to from Halie's channel.
Love this video! you have the cutest videos and this idea is so perfect. Thanks so much for sharing this idea and video, can't wait to see more I'm always excited when I see videos from You they are so good and I always love making crafty things and your crafts are absolutely perfect for my daughter (she's 6) and I to do together since I'm a single mom of 2 my daughter is 6 and my son is 10 months so it's nice having time dedicated for each of them seperately and she always loves doing crafts or anything diy or making things so she loves your channel because they aren't super difficult and they are always great ideas.
Such a cute idea 😀 how much did u sell them for?
that it's so cute!! I need to go and buy some craft paper and make some thank you for the tutorial.
Hi thanks, I enjoyed watching the video.
Super cute Amber..thanks so much for the tutorial, and the tips.. :)
kimpossible Thank you so much for watching! xo Amber
Absolutely loved your idea. Would love to know where you live as the Staples near me wanted $6 to $8 to cut the paper pads no matter how many they cut. I felt that made it cost prohibitive based on the price of their pads so I backed out.
I got mine cut at a local print shop, they charged me $4 to cut 18 pads (got the pads at the $ store, 3 in a set for $1) So total cost on the pads was $10 for 54 skinny note pads :)
Thank you for that info. The $$$ Trees around here don't even have any of the pads in stock but if I could find a print shop, that was going to be my next option as soon as I can find the pads. Staples wanted $1.50 each for ones they were discontinuing and $9.99 for 5 in a pack so I am going to keep checking the $$$ Trees until I find them. TY again.
Thank you, Barbara. I live in Southern Arizona. I have heard that a lot of people have been having trouble getting theirs cut for a decent price, so I've come up with an alternative solution for this year. I will be sharing it soon!
Thank you for watching. :) Amber
Can't wait...I was hoping to try these at my mid-Sept Craft Fair.
Costco carries them for a good price. Also, you can order from the dollar store online and get free shipping to a local store.
so cute amber..love it
keishandante Thanks Keisha!! xo Amber
