    Hi!! I am currently in college trying to navigate this crazy time in my life through journaling- I just wanted to say that your style of journaling, collaging, and writing is absolutely stunning! I love creating journal entries with a nice amount of writing, but the scrapbooking side is always so satisfying as well. I hope you’re having a wonderful week, just subscribed!! :)

      Thanks so much Lauren! Agreed, isn’t it beautiful?! I love the gold details on it, my other Kawecos all have silver details so it’s nice to switch it up 🥰

    Thanks to you and this channel I started journaling again 🥰 Just going through all my pretty stationary brings me joy and simply making a collage is so peaceful. We’re behind screens and on the internet so much it’s so nice to disconnect. Your page is SO stunning!! And those craftafteroons sound like a treasure 💕

    How do you like the paper with fountain pen ink?

    • @notablyemily
      @notablyemily  Год назад

      Definitely try it out with friends if you like the idea!! It's so much fun. I really love the Leuchtturm paper with fountain pens, it's not as great as Tomoe River of course but it's really solid for the price point and the ease of finding/buying it (at least in North America!)

    Have you tried the gluing from the top down? So, when you have all your big pieces of ephemera placed where you want them, you start gluing from the top piece and working your way down. I have found this method of gluing to be very helpful. It keeps all the pieces in the original place instead of trying to remember how you placed them in the beginning. I will say, it does take some time getting used to because finding the right amount of glue to place your ephemera is key haha. But, I have been using this method for a while now and I love it, it keeps everything where I originally wanted it 😊

    Lovely videos so far, Emily. In your shorts you talk about your swap journal...can you explain. I have kept a journal with my goddaughter for the last three years, taking it in turns to fill it in. Is yours similar?

    • @notablyemily
      @notablyemily  Год назад +1

      Hi Cathy! Yes that’s exactly what I do with my friends as well! If you watch my Journal Flip Through video, I talk more about it in there. 😊

    I admire the commitment on the 5 year journal! Best of luck to you 💖 Have you done it daily since you started? Is it just random or you have a journaling prompt? Love the video! 💛

    • @notablyemily
      @notablyemily  Год назад +1

      I haven’t been able to do it daily consistently but I always go back and fill in the days so it’s complete! I usually write about my day and anything I want to remember about it so I don’t use any prompts but that’s a good idea! Thank you so much for watching Justine 🥰✨
