Good start Alireza's problem is consistency and Fabi drops games at key times. Its a marathon not a sprint so too early to tell. Where's Hans they all know they're scared of him ... or so he thinks 🤪🤣
Well, Yasser picked him to win the tournament but i feel like he's not particularly fond of Firouzja. Svidler, on the other hand, is a big fan of Alireza's playstyle and admires him a lot.
Absolutely rooting for Ding Liren! I hope he absolutely smashes all competition. I hope he ascends out of this rut like a phoenix and proves why he’s one of the best in the world. He’s absolutely capable of beating any an all of his opponents in this tournament’s roster. GL Ding!
What a wild game Fabi vs Alireza. Also, the players can't be blamed for blundering when they have seconds on the clock. They're not machines. Well played to both of them
I swear that there was one game that Ding played a few years ago, where it featured almost the exact same position requiring Ding to play for a double rook lift. He won that game of course playing the correct Rock lifts. N Ding would play Re1 99 out of 100 times before 2019! Now he just completely loses his intuition on these things😢
I wish now I could see each game (or at least the best ones) in Chess Base India style: the full image of the two players, a 2D board in the middle, thinking time edited out - just the moves, and if possible commented too, though it’s hard to do what Sagar Shah does. :) I tried to find short videos with the separate games but there was only without the images.
Exactly what I thought. He's more interested in his job as a second than in the games and the big moments of the games, as he should be as a commentator. He didn't quite grasp the hat he was wearing at the moment.
How much time do pros need to actually calculate? I doubt they calculate anything other than simple lines. Then they use intuition when it gets complicated. No “calculating” imo 😂
Since Fabi smiled a lot in the 9-move game against Alireza, he never got a chance. Ali took things a bit personal 😄😄
People were saying alireza is washed and can't play classical right before the game lmao. He just beat fabi in an insane form.
Fabi is blunder boy
number 3 player in the world and the one guy that magnus think is close to him in classical is blunder boy?
They rather downplay alireza win than give credit.@haroldhernandez4834
@@amiyrlewis153alireza was better the entire game. He was bound to blunder

The guys in the studio were in PAIN for this Alireza win lol
They hate alireza so much it's hilarious. You can feel their pain
Can you please write the TIME, that he hate Alireza? :)
Yea😂
I've the complete opposite feeling, Yasser and Peter like Alireza very very much
Well, Yasser picked him to win the tournament but i feel like he's not particularly fond of Firouzja. Svidler, on the other hand, is a big fan of Alireza's playstyle and admires him a lot.

How much time did they need? They get lost in the threats and defenses like everyone else! 😂
Peter is great! 😆 That’s a nice comments team.
I love peter svidler's commentary. He explains his thoughts very well
The Monster is comming
Peak Alireza is scary af. He can beat Magnus on a good day
peak Alireza can beat stockfish, let alone magnus
If this is peak alireza already then magnus gonna smoke him on his(magnus) bad day, alireza is getting very lucky in these games
AF is million times better than Indian "prodigies".
They will occupy the last spots in GCT.
@@nikhildawani2913 I smell some butthurt indian in the comments, lol Gucci is way above all indian players including Vishy talntwise
@@movieshistory768indeed but not even close to magnus, but he is clearly better than all Indians overall

On his peak is he was sharp as hell. I haven't seen that ever since the WC
old days
Very nice commentator team👏👏👏👏big respect to former world champion the great yasser sirWAn👏👏👏

Alireza si geniun, beats to Caruana in good play
I do wish there was somewhere on the graphic that showed the number of moves made.
Why is that interesting, in the absence of a 40-move time control rule?
Chess is not about doing mistake its about punishing opponent mistake . -for alireza being lucky
Isn't not punishing an opponent's mistake a mistake in itself though...
5:48:37 Alireza - f*ckin I missed it - what a legend
5:55:53 U can't wait 2 sec for nice time?)
this people is totally wrong,
Fabiano never had chance to draw (in the last 15 moves)
Peter is a disaster,
over analyzes all the positions and moves
HAS THE HALL OF SHAME FINALLY BEEN BUILT?
Where is magnus?🤔🤔🤔
why no interview with Fabi?
Fabi is embarrassed, being number 2 American and choking his win
No interview with loser. If he really wants interview then he atleast has to draw the game.

where are hikaru and magnus?
at home
with your mom
christian, always lead with the biggest moment. don’t go to the opening when he clearly wants to discuss rd5, the biggest moment of the game
Christian is doing great with the interviews, one of the most professional commentators in chess.
@@haileyrattlecliff1274christian is great. i listen to every c-squared. doesn’t mean i can’t give a suggestion
