Nice video. I just ordered some of these for my 2012 super glide. Question, is there a front and rear to the twin/slip ons? Is there a video for my bike specifically?
After installing mine, I noticed that there was an exhaust leak just forward of each clamp. I wonder if yours is leaking too? Maybe you never checked it.
When I did my (Previous) 15 Street 750, I had to beat the muffler off with a block of wood. I'm thinking about a set of SO for my 18 Custom 1200. What would give a decent rumble? Without being Obnoxious.
HI. I"ve just bought Iron 1200 and am super excited. Planning to replace exhaust pipes, possibly going for V&H Grenades 2 into 2(found quite cheap from an American ebay seller, almost half price). I really want to do it myself and wondering if someone can give me some useful tips. Just spoken to HD dealers and they're talking about 2k, but as I said I'd rather do, whatever I can, myself and get the final tuning or whatever from there. They said I also need to replace the air filter and tuner as well. Any help will appreciate.
Hey guys, I have trouble putting those on on a 2017 XL1200CX . On the video you don't seem to have trouble with "join gasket" , I do... I had to buy new ones...
I have a 2016 street glide it doesn't purrr.very quiet.what ends can I put on mine to make it sound better .that's not to expensive in price thankyou!!
The Twin Slash Round slip ons for touring bikes are the best sound improvement for the money spent. www.jpcycles.com/product/451-059/vance-hines-twin-slash-round-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley
If you only do slip ons, and do not change the air cleaner to a high flow, then you will be fine without tuning. If you do headpipe and high flow, you can use an FP3 to tune your bike with only the one time cost of purchase rather than having to pay to tune your bike every time that you make a performance upgrade.
J&P Cycles i just bought some for my 2018 Breakout. Do i need to buy gaskets for the slip ons? I noticed my stock mufflers has then inside where it connects to the header. My set doesn’t have any.

After this tutorial I could do this job blindfolded ! Great Job Pauly .
Excellent job showing and explaining this. Not feeling nearly as intimidated now. Thanks a ton, Pauly.
Thanks for the great info. Good video showing everything I need to know
Great instructions, the tech. Kept it simple so that anyone could understand!

There’re good for a 98 sportster hugger?
The stock exhaust clamps won't fit the twin slash muffler. If it does i can't get the bugger on!
Do you have a video on how to install the blackout heat shield for the rest of the pipe?

same problem here. how did you solve?

Just asking the 1/4 in off set. is it just for looks or dose it make a difference in sound and performance ?
It is for looks.

Nice video. Is there a need for lock tight on the threads of the bolts for the new muffler?
The bolts provided are serrated which acts as a lock washer, so it is not needed.
Sounds killer 👍🏻

Same shit with my XL883N, I can't pull out from the original exhaust system. And in the video, looks so easy
Have you guys made a video covering installation of these same mufflers on an FLSTC? Configuration and attachment is a bit different.
We have not. I can add it to my list of future projects. Thanks for watching.
Hi, is the installation similar on Dyna street bob 2017?
I am looking to throw some of these on my '16 softail slim. I'm having a little trouble removing the stock muffler. Am I missing something??
Did you remove the bolts that attach the muffler to the bracket on the back side?
What about gasket

would I still have to have Harley calibrate it? the slip ons
