Informative video is an art and not everyone is gifted with it but everyone has the potential to learn it. I like your style and big thumb ❤❤❤🎉

As a reminder, the standard Bass Raider is a few hundred bucks cheaper. The NXT seems to charge extra for the upgraded seats. Great video! This will help greatly in my remodel. Thanks for sharing!

Yes I considered all options even the bass pro boats. I wanted the raider because of the lower sides for what I had in mind. And it seems from what I've seen that people who get the plastic seats often look to replace them right away. The ones they often get are the NXT seats. And they're not inexpensive. Also, no one carried the 10e around here. And I had to pick up the NXT early in the spring as they sold out before the snow all melted where I am. I do like the mesh seats of this boat though.

@CraftsmanontheLake Don't get me wrong, you definitely got the better model! I've only seen 1 for sale here in NC. Drove two hours after purchasing online, only to be told they accidentally sold it 🤣. I've heard too many horror stories about these boats and shipping, so I refunded and continue to wait.

In the fall I bought a new snow blower. It's hardly snowed. Feb/March were like early spring here in Maine. So I bought a boat. Big blizzard tomorrow in April. So... I just keep working on the boat for the fun of it. Thnx for commenting.

Why would you need two motors??

I outlined the reasons in a previous video. I live on a large 4.5 mile long lake. Two motors don't go much faster but they can allow you to power against the wind which can be an issue. Also, redundancy. One gives up and you've got a second. Last, using a motor up front for noodling/slow trolling works really good, but not much for booking it a mile back to the house. One in the back for moving along and the one in the front for maneuvering around while casting. Plus, I had two hanging around so why not right?
