Thank you all for watching. If you could do me a favour and hit Subscribe and turn on all Notifications, it will help me more than you know❤️ This was something I didn’t know I needed until I bought a big sunhat. Didn’t want to keep stuffing in a bag when not wearing it. Is this useful for you?
Yes, I think this will come in useful in summer... Every now and then, I need to carry my hat instead of wearing it, and this would be a great way for that! And possibly more things than just the hat! Nice little helper.
I don't wear hats, but that is a nifty thing to have on a key chain. Also like how you sectioned it into two. I like this style of keychain because it's easier to fish out of jean pockets & isn't bulky with fobs for work & vehicles. Thanks for the great idea & easy to follow instructions! ❤️
The way your mind works is incredible. I love your ideas, and you have lots. Thank you for sharing your love for crafting. I will waiting to see what ideas you bring to the new year. Happy Holidays Angela.
You don’t rest do you Angela ? LOL This is a FANTASTIC idea! I struggle with the same so where do I hold my sun hat?? So…I don’t wear it as often because I can’t be bothered. Now , no excuses , just make this hat clip. This is a great gift to my girlfriends for 2023. Many are planning that Florida trip or Caribbean cruise in 2023. My Spring folder is filling up …..hehhehe. Thank you for the upload 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Funny you should say that. I made these just before leaving for the airport. Edited the video footage in stages at the waiting lounge, plane ride and then finished at 3am in the hotel. Like you, I now have no excuses not to carry a hat with me…. Keep your eye out for fun ribbons to make theses with. Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best to you and your family for 2023!
This is great for sun hats and fishing hats that can be crushed. I have, amongst my headwear, a felt cowboy hat, a white Stetson straw hat, and a Trilby. Only the Trilby would survive this without damage. I'd be interested in an easy solution for hats that won't tolerate being stored in this manner. I like it, though, I have similar (more aggressive) devices to hang my gloves and they are awesome.
@@NotchesSewing I've got a hanger in my truck, and truth be told a hard-shell hat carrier is cheaper by half than a new hat. The biggest issue is that as men quit wearing hats, provisions for storing hats became an issue. I just had an influx of new hats for summer and am having to reconfigure my entry at home for them. Probably why your video got recommended - I'm a hat wearer and I also sew and do leather work. Enjoyed the easy-to-follow tutorial, gonna use it to make more glove/rain gear holders. 😎👍
@@kdawson020279 If you are not worried about dust, how about having a rack of thin dowels protruding outward for the hats to sit upside down on. Each side of brim would rest on a dowel
I need to see this being used because I don’t get it. Do you have to be carrying your keys in order to have a place for your Sun hat? Sorry, I’m confused!
You use it exactly as in the picture of the thumbnail. I only mention a keychain or key ring as they are large enough to put around a bag strap. You can easily just hook it onto any part of your bag. No need to have keys out. A lot of key rings have decorative charms on them so if you hang them on bag it’s a cute look.
I use an extremely similar device to hang my collection of work gloves (cold, abrasive, cut resistant, welding, and the leather protectors for my 1000 volt rated electric work gloves) in my truck. You just need something to hang it from, and something to hang from it. They're handy, and I use them to keep my gloves clean, dry, and free from damage.

Great idea You are amazing 👍🌷🌱
Thanks a lot
Hi Angela! I made 4 of these today. So quick and cool.
Do you have any lanyard tutorials.
That’s great! Sorry no lanyard tutorials……
Muito obrigada! Adorei!♥️
Muito obrigado. Espero que você tente. É TÃO conveniente!

Thanks for watching. I am afraid I do not have any experience with those types of hats. I am guessing a hat box would be best

Could you make some hanging boxes from stiffened felt or clear vinyl? That wouldn’t be too expensive.
@@NotchesSewing That's not too bad of an idea, especially for the ones I'm not immediately using. I'm going to have to experiment.
