Roger Waters - Wish You Were Here (Live @ O2 ARENA, PRAGUE - 25/05/2023)

"Wish You Were Here", é a faixa que dá o título ao nono álbum de originais dos Pink Floyd. Editado em Setembro de 1975, sucede "Dark Side of The Moon", disco que é considerado pela crítica como a obra prima da banda britânica. O tema "Wish You Were Here" é uma das maiores baladas de sempre da história da música pop, sendo uma fascinante homenagem a Syd Barrett, co-fundador dos Pink Floyd. A existência dos Pink Floyd está intimamente ligada a Barrett e a Waters que eram vizinhos na cidade de Cambridge. Os dois rumam a Londres, Barrett para estudar pintura na Camberwell School of Arts e Waters para seguir arquitectura no Regent Street Polytechnic.
O último contacto dos Pink Floyd com Barrett ocorre precisamente em 1975, quando gravavam "Wish You Were Here". Barrett é o "crazy diamond" ("o diamante louco") que o tema “Shine On You Crazy Diamond, também incluído no álbum, alude.
