Have these on my 2005 yfz 450 and they are awesome they hook good no issues in mud or any dirt for that matter. always will buy them they have me hooked

@@chrisginoc I'm running itp holeshots on my 250 and they are decent on hard compact dirt but do struggle a little bit in lose slippery stuff. In terms of weight I don't notice much of a difference from the maxxis tires I had before.

Hey brother. Its Chris, from your other video comments. I'm looking for new tires on my yfz 450. The ones I got on this used quad are bald. I keep hearing about these GBC xc versus the itp holeshot gncc. Any thoughts? Im looking for some all around trail tires.

I just ordered a set for my ‘20 Raptor 700r SE today. I don’t really like the ones that originally came on the quad.
The stock tires are designed to be light and give a somewhat cushy ride. You're in for a good upgrade in handling and traction.
Are these better or equivalent to the razors or GNCC itps because I want a cheaper alternative for my off-road riding and racing
Our test rider races GNCC and really likes them having used Maxxis in the past. They are also a long lasting tire. Opinions may vary. Thanks for watching.

Well I can tell you I am very happy with mine. Awesome traction, great price . Can't beat them ! I'm sure you will love them too. Not enough miles on them yet to say how durable they are but so far they are awesome.

Which direction should the front tires be mounted??? V up or down? many shows V down in pictures but this video shows front tire with the V up..... super confusing... wouldnt it be easier to throw an arrow on the tire. LOL.
This is a great question! Thanks for asking. We asked GBC on on your behalf and they tell us that, "There is really no wrong direction although there is a direction marking on the tires." Running them V down provides more bite in corners. They tell us that around 10% of racers run them in the opposite direction as it provides a little more hook-up under braking. So this is good just for the weekend riding on soft or hard dirt
They are good for racing or just weekend trail riding. They perform well in soft or hard terrain and are a longer lasting tire than some.

Looking for the hardest compound tire I can put on my Raptor. I've been told this is a good place to start. I previously Had Razr2's which is supposed to be equal or better than xc masters. But the price wasn't worth it They wore pretty fast.
The racers we've talked to about the XC Masters boast about how long they last. The Masters have a pretty hard rubber compound but if your doing any real amount of road riding any knobby will wear quickly.
hey man ive been thinking about getting the razr2 for my trx250r . because of the deep tread lugs since im only 145ibs and short . how were they on traction on trails ?

How would these look and do on a old 1999 scrambler 400 4x4 2 stroke?? I’m a old sport quad rider and never had a 4wd before. But I plan on riding it like a sport...I mean it is a 2 stroke 😎. The 4wd is just a bonus for technical trail riding. Right now it just has to much grab...I can’t slide very good or light the tires up on demand.

My buddy went thru the tire testing gambit for the last 3yrs. These are the best tires we have found hands down. All around great trail or track tires.

Man, this would make for an interesting tire comparison. Duel sport tires on sport ATVs. We hear that sport ATVs are street legal in some European countries. This might be a worth while video in the future.

i have a modded 300ex with maxxis razors rn and they wore out and was looking at these does my 300ex with a high comp piston have enough power to turn these tires reasonably
how do these compare to the ground buster 3?
Steven Hinckle we have a long overdue review coming up on the ground Buster 3 tires. AR test rider Jim Nemacheck used the ground Buster three tires throughout the 2017 cross country season. Jimmy tells us that he prefers the ground Buster threes for dry Rocky and hard pack to intermediate conditions. The 6 ply versions are good for Trail Riders and those who aren't using a run-flat system like tire blocks or Tire balls. Jim uses Tire balls so he runs the lighter weight 2 ply versions. If you have a smaller displacement machine you may prefer the lighter weight of the ground Buster's. As soon as things dry up a bit here we will be filming a set and getting a test out to you. For now, I hope this helps. Hit us back with any more questions you may have.

These would be great for typical trail riding. They provide very good traction nearly everywhere. plus, they last a good long time. We think that is especially important for trail riders.

I got them I don't know if I'll ever run another tire they are a whole other world the way they guide you threw turns the way they grip but still let you control slide their amazing I can't see holeshots being any better

I am looking for a tire that has alot of forward traction but not a lot of traction in turns. My Quad is very topheavy so i want to be able to get it sideways rather Than tipping. Is there a rear tire that you would recommend?
I have a 130 h.p. 4 cylinder streetbike powered woods/trail Banshee. with +2" a arm & axles. I Ride logging roads, mud, and sand. I currently have been running maxxis razr 2 6 ply on beadlocks for good reason. would these gbc hold up and provide good linear traction and handle well at high speeds on my application?

Gokarts, Minibikes, and more! Yes. Is all terrain good as they are a good Tire. The knobs are tall and wide enough to dig in the mud but the tread blocks are large enough that they put enough rubber on the ground and the compound is hard enough that they don't wear quickly.
How much for a full set roughly

+Chris Crowder We love those trails! We've been there a couple of times with Kawasaki. These tires are a good fit if you like riding hooked up out of turns. If you want a tire that slides a bit easier and feels lighter, you might want to go with the GBC XC Racer tires. We have tried them on a project Z400 we need to republish, but liked their predictable sliding manners. You can find both of these tires very reasonably priced if you browse on google.
Outside of GBC there are a ton of cross country tires out there. For long rides in the rocks of West Virginia we'd make sure to stick with a six-ply, general purpose cross-country tire, and keep the pressure up a bit to help prevent cuts, punctures, and pinch flats from rocks.

+pit Riders Prior to working in the ATV industry I owned a Warrior bored and stroked to 430cc by Powroll. If your motor has pumped up compression and the other common mods needed to make a race motor, these tires should work well for you.

WOW can't believe it took this long for someone to find that. I didn't believe you until I watched it for myself. You know, when you record a sentence four or five times you're likely to trip over your words at some point. We are aware that it was a 20" rear tire. I don't think I've seen a 21" rear sport tire. Greetings, We think GBC's XC Racer tires might be a better option for the 250EX. They are a bit lighter and easier to break loose than the XC Racers. Is we add tires to our TRX250X/EX project we would be adding XC Racers. With any 20" tire you will a little top speed compared to the stock 22" tires, although handling will be improved.

+ATVonDemand Perfect timing! I'm about to order a set of tire for my Raptor 700. I really don't know which one are better for me. The Kenda Klaw XC 4 PLY (I have only 4 PLY in my country) or the GBC XC master 6 PLY?
I ride most of time gravel, trails and sometimes dunes. Also I do want to perform long slides...can I do it with those? :)

I just mounted the new tires and they grip really really good! the thread is still looks new after hours of riding with them. You can slide with those and still be in control of your quad's tail, which is great. The acceleration 0-60 is improved now because of the good traction those tires gives you. they also gives your quad a beast look which is a nice bonus (:
warning for riders that will be behind you, the crazy grip makes them throwing some rock haha.
Love those tires! and of course they are 6 PLY so very hard to puncher those!(:

+corvettecraver We have tested the Raptor 700R extensively and own one as a personal machine. These would be a great tire choice for your use. Our test rider Jim races with these tires regularly and raves about their hook up and super long lasting tread. He is not sponsored by GBC by the way, he has to buy his tires at whatever price he can find.

We typically don't list prices for tires because a lot of Manufacturers don't provide them and they vary so much at the retail level. Google around and you can probably find a decent deal on them. Thanks for your comments.

Chris Dean I wish I could remember why , but they are a great trail tire . Ohustu 501 are a really good dirt drag tire. I have both for my 450er and my 400ex. DWT tires hook well too

How would these do in the snow?
Not as good as a pure snow tire in the deep stuff. But the knobs are pretty tall, so they should be pretty good.
