  • Kemba Olabisi Gosier is the President of Advancing Sickle Cell Advocacy Project, Inc. (A.S.A.P.), a nonprofit 501 c(3) organization that she led the charge to organize. Kemba is a Miami native, and the proud mother of two phenomenal daughters Courtney and Erica. Her eldest daughter Courtney was diagnosed with sickle cell disease (SCD), and as a scared young mother, with limited resources and knowledge of SCD, Kemba decided to not allow her circumstances to define her, and she embraced her life’s goal of advocating for those living with SCD in South Florida. Kemba is a certified sickle cell educator & counselor. She was recognized in 2007 by the Junior League of Miami as Women who make a difference, 2018 she was a nominated African American Achievers by JM Family Enterprise. She also serves as a consultant on various projects that impact the improvement in the Health Care of Individuals with Sickle Cell Disease in the state of Florida.
