Hey Cry, I've seen your Okami series pop up a dozen times now in my YT Feed but always was like "nah, no time, gotta do shduff!", but when my computer broke down a few days ago I had nothing else to do and so I picked up the game myself on the PS2 again and sort of simultaneously started watching your series (always up to the point I got in the game myself because I knew I forgot a lot about the game). Well, a few days later I'm at like part 43 and continue watching even tho my PC got fixed. Yay, Cry! Now that you have the Thunder Edge glaive, you can wield that and draw lightning from it for your brush techniques! Also, if I remember correctly, with techniques like fire and lightning, you can draw the line across multiple targets, and it'll hit all of the targets that the paint touched.

I love Okami, but Orochi is really my only complain about it. You fight him sooooo many times it gets tedious. It would be a bit different if each iteration gained some new ability, or a curve, but no. It's the same each time.
This. The second time he's slightly stronger and have a golden armour, but meh, when you fight him the second time you're also stronger? I prefer fighting multiple Raos and Wakas than Orochi.
Arkenidae (Illusioneery) Spoilers below for other peoples: No. NO. That wasn't fun. Not as bad as the three Nagi's, but still. THOSE FIGHTS WERE A GODDAMN CHORE. They were long, tedious fights, unless you bought a butt-load of exorcism slips. And even THEN, the amount of HP they gave all of them was just... ech. I hated that gate so much.

Cry, after you quickly do the incantation and hopefully save the day, you can try to find the last Power Slash upgrade in the Mountain near the lake. It is on one of the cliffs hidden by a rock with a thing of diamond next to it.

Shiranui was just what Amaterasu was being called 100 years ago, she was still Ammy. She "died" after fighting True Orochi, became a statue and woke back up 100 years later at the beginning of the game. Though significantly weakened because peoples faith had waned while she was a statue, which is also why she looks different.

Hey, Cry, and anyone else playing Okami, two tips with blooming is that if you line the bloom targets up, you can bloom multiple things at once, and with blooming the sakura trees, try circling the center part where the trunk splits into 2 big branches.
It's not worth a playthrough. It basically just retreads the same material and rides to coattails of the original game. It's cute and all but not really a good game overall. I think Cry should enjoy this and move on as the experience is a complete one.
