His voice is okay. He is having issues hearing himself in relation to the amps and drums and that's why it seems off tune. If this is the first song it may take a couple more until the soundguy gets the monitors to where they need to be.
I was at this show! Elvis Costello opened and stole the show. Daryl sounded awful from the opener: "Maneater" all the way through the rest of the set. People were leaving in droves during his set. He came out for his one encore song "You Make My Dreams Come True" and his singing was all over the place. He kept switching from baritone to tenor and never found it. It was sad really. At the conclusion, he said, "Well, that's all we've got for you. Hope you liked it I guess..." and walked off.
Hope they fix this b4 they get to Radio City Music Hall next month...he was really fine with Todd Rundgren last tour...so many great solo album tunes he could do instead of this stale old ditty...the H&O shows were pretty awful their last few tours...they mailed it in...i think he resents still having to do greatest hits xcept 4 Sara Smile..
When an artist has been singing for as long as he has you will notice all the changes in his voice besides live concerts are Not the same as a recorded song. Enjoy the moment.
I just saw him tonight in Las Vegas and his vocals were so bad many people walked out. I couldn’t believe how bad it was. I went on here and other modern shows to see if he was having an off night. Nope he needs to immediately retire
I have been a fan since the beginning, but I definitely would not pay to see this performance, this was actually painful to watch, please enjoy your retirement Darrell.😢
Huge Hall & Oates fan and I saw Darryl live tonight in Las Vegas. It was sad. He was so terrible that a quarter of the crowd walked out. Hands down the worst vocals I’ve ever heard from a live performance of a professional musician😮

This is when you should not go on tour anymore. He should stay exclusive and perform in his gated community or a senior village at best. This was horrific and anyone who thinks this is good needs to stop being a delusional liberal 🤪 Time to retire Daryl.
