I really appreciate you doing real-time videos and explaining your process as you go along. I'm new to marker art, so it's really been helping me a lot. I'm so amazed by what you create with markers! This is such a challenging medium for me. Keep posting! :)
Completely phenomenal demonstration. Being forced to move from digital to traditional for a minute due to my tablet breaking and this was super super helpful.
My oil painting teacher told me to avoid black as well, because black mixed with any color just makes it muddy and gross. Whereas if you mixed a really really dark color for a black (my go to was always mixing pthalo blue and some dark red) it's infinitely more interesting to look at than just black straight from a tube.
The back lighting and adding various other colours give this young mans portrait not only more life but much more interest ..He looks amazing ,hope to see more of your work soon .Stay safe 😀
Just recently discovered your channel, so happy to see you’re posting! Your tutorials are so helpful to me and your voice is soothing to listen to while I draw along. Keep up the good work 👌🏼 your real time portrait tutorials are freaking gold!
Wow your back, you are literally the best copic marker artist in RUclips, why are you not posting much contend in RUclips, you always post on insta though, i think you should do more videos in RUclips
Awesome job! Your videos are really helping me to understand the depth and complexity of colors in darker skin. Would you possibly be able to light from the left if possible? Your right hand casts a shadow over your work while you’re drawing. Anyway, thanks again . You’re really talented
Dude, your mastery skin tones is amazing!! I just found your channel and I'm an instant subscriber!! How do you determine your color choices for a given image? I think my biggest obstacle in understanding the process is how you seem to have a step by step layering process for each individual tone. I get lost too quickly in my own efforts. Something I've been wondering is about pencil lines. Its not a problem here because you have so much color but what about in places with really light colors? How do you deal with pencils when you have a very light set of colors like yellows? Do you just ink over them?
Not to be a pest, but I've been doing a few Star Wars characters lately, how do you handle skin tones for non-human skin colors like with Ahsoka Tano (orange skin) or Hera Syndulla (light green)?
You’re back! I’ve missed the art, your soothing voice, and the nice music. Nice to have you back !!
jhope-Love thank you! Hope you enjoy the video!
