This is based upon the same offseason where the dodgers just spent over 1 BILLION DOLLARS, and the Giants signed 5 actual impact players. Not to mention Jordan Hicks looks nasty as a starter!! Suarez had his best season almost 6 years ago now with 49 pumps and isn’t getting younger. Rodriguez is one the streakiest, above average, starting lefties in the last 4 years and he can’t stay healthy. Not to mention he DENIED a trade to the DODGERS for his family and then up and went to Arizona?!? Then two platoon guys and one can’t play defense. Don’t get me wrong, the spits that Joe has against RHP and Grichuk against LHP are stupid but after just those 4 guys I would say a C is generous. Montgomery was him last year in Texas but we can’t forget his stints in St. Louis and New York. So with those 5 guys I think a realistic eval of the DBacks offseason is a B-. I am in no means an expert on baseball and I don’t have every fact ab every team and their moves this offseason but it just seams too generous

Hoskins fills a black hole at 1B that we haven’t gotten solid production from since Prince Fielder. The lineup itself is much improved and the bullpen is still elite. Just because we traded Burnes, doesn’t mean we had a bad offseason

We didn’t need to spend tons of dollars on a 50/50 Blake Snell or someone like Monty, cause we already traded for Burnes! A rotation featuring a true 1A and 1B in Burnes and Bradish (who is set to return in the early part of the first half, had a great ERA and FIP, 4th in cy young) along with Grod, who had the second best 2nd half era last year, and then your FOUR STARTER is former all star John Means, who was fantastic in his return from injury, to go with a reliable five in either Kremer or Wells (who some forget was snubbed from the all star game) This rotation is very good, and there was no need to spend money
I give the Angles a D-, fuz they lost the best baseball player in todays age. All though Mike Trout is kinda talking his spot, he is RAKING RIGHT NOW. He his hitting 318, 6 hr and 8 RBI's. I thing he could have a great season if he stays healthy, and that is the key, if he can stay healthy. I also think that Rendon is great to have back, he also needs to stay healthy. He is hitting 150 with 0 hr and 0 RBI'S. GO GUARDIAS FUZZY. ( ANOTHER BAD OFF SEASON) PLS SEE THIS FUZ. EVERYONE LIKE.
quick note, both jackson chourio and jackson merrill are both going to be starting CFs at the age of 20 (although merrill gets a slight edge because hes a month younger)
Although I don't really feel the hype for the Astros like most people do, the fact that they did the single biggest (practically only) thing they could have done to make themselves better, closing out their relievers like that...even with the losses (which frankly weren't the worst losses ever), just the perfection of Hader joining them gets them at least B+ for me. It was beautiful in its simplicity.

I feel like the Giants deserved a better grade than the Dodgers. Yes, the Dodgers got Shohei Ohtani, Yamamoto, etc, but it just made an already good team slightly better. The Giants came into the off-season as a below average team and they exited the offseason as a serious playoff contender.
I don’t think the D for the twins is fair considering the situation. We have so many young talented guys where Kenta, Sonny, etc are just on the wrong side of age. Yunior Severino, Walker Jenkins, Brooks Lee, and many more coming up including those youngins already on the roster. Why would we pay millions for aging guys who could fall off starting this year when we got a young core coming up
