80 hp sounds like nothing but they’re surprisingly nippy
It’s a smaller car and it’s pretty light. My Peugeot 107 has only 68hp yet it can do 160

Hello Speedfox. This is not the climax. This engine is defenately fuel sensitive. It runs good on E95 but if you treat it with a better quality it runs faster or more economic. It is naturally aspirated and has low displacement, for a good amount of power you have to rev it propperly high. The resonator chamber in the intake manifold gives it a bit of bite at over 4000 rpm. If you overcome the little lag between 3500 and 4500 it will achieve 180 km/h easyly.

I've got the 1,2 80hp 2 door version today I hit with downhill nearly 200 km/h.

We got a 3 door with automatized gearbox as our second car. Yes downhill, tailwind and a lot of unobstrukted lane - i seen 190 km/h too. 180 on tach is good to achieve and does not feel unsave.
the corsa d is very slow when accelerating, sluggish for 80 ps the previous corsa c was better with 60 or 75hp.
@@AudiAddicted68 yes i agree. It is suprisingly not the best car for the city, more the kind of mid-range bomber. Laggy in accelleration, but once on speed it shouts out for more.
Definitely and it gulps more fuel but its okay for a city car.
My opel Corsa 1.2 a12xel 69 hp, i made 160 km/h too.

2008 manuel 1.2 twiport corsa benim maks hızım 200 km/h benzinli olarak yaptım buradaki yanlış arkadaşlar 160 lpg ile bile gelinebilir bir rakam lpg ile 150 km/h geçmedim

Yanlış tabi kardeşim bende ki de 2008 1.2 LPG de 170 e kadar çıkıyor. Benzinde 190 çıkıyor yüksek devirde kullanırsan yolda müsaitse

Why the fuck does my corsa d 1.2 have 4k rpm but only 120kmh?
Later versions, especially 'eco' ones, have a modified gear ratio for more paperwork fuel efficency. This leads to a bad accelleration but pays out on unlimited highways.
