I also believe that they should be rotated slightly on their shaft. It seems to me that in the lower position they are still too high and in the highest postition the driver's side one seems to be too far to the left. Can anyone with the same Corsa confirm? :D
@@lubovavidea2832 New wipers would probably fix that without adjusting the position. It's just that the resistance is too big because they're so worn

I used to own a Corsa C, the linkages rust out and develop a lot of slop, that's why the wipers wobble.

Mein 3 Zylinder Corsa mit 1.0 Motor und nur 60 PS lief Tacho 175 auf der geraden was nach GPS 165 Kmh war. BERGRUNTER ECHTE 180 kmh.Umbau dieses Motors auf 140 PS Dbilas kein Problem.😊
@@axelzabicki8789 Was hast du von Dbilas verbaut? Habe den 1.2er 16Ventiler und derzeit den Flowmaster verbaut. Später dieses Jahr will ich die Einspritzung kaufen sollte also von 80PS auf knapp über 100PS kommen. Was hast du bitte mit dem 3 Zylinder gemacht um auf 140PS zu kommen?? o.O

i'm from Brazil, and i have a 2004 corsa 1.0 with 247.000KM and zero problems.
Already over 400.000km here, but it's 1.3 diesel. Just now the cam chain starts to rattle, so soon it'll require a full service. But it served me well for many years so it earned a bit of love.

It's also almost redline at highest gear. More power can do nothing to its top speed because it's choked by the gears.

Mine cold not go past 160kmh on 120 000 km... crap car... and at 120kmh was vibrating so hard it was very scary driving past 100 000kmh... inspection and maintenance properly done... they are just bad cars for people and good cars for mechanics... 😅

@@CyrilSneer123nope. Brought my Corsa C 1.4 automatic to the scrapyard yesterday. Shit cars and require constant maintenance. Spend around 6000 EUR on repairs and the car was still shit.

I've had mine from new, 18 years later it's still going strong! Saved a LOAD of cash in that time and now I can buy anything I want, no monthly payments for me 😁The only things that went wrong was the coil pack, Cv boots and battery. I had to tighten bolts on the cams but that's it. The secret to a good running engine is oil changes. very reliable when looked after properly.

I have an Opel Corsa C 1,4 sport 2005 model and i love it , i am a huge Opel fan , I've owned 2 Opel Kadetts , one Opel Astra and 4 Opel Monzas and now i have the Opel Corsa C . The Opel Monza 1600 GSI won car of the year award in 1993 .
I learned to drive with my great-granny's silver, 2006 Corsa 1.4 Sport. The steering was on-point and the gear shifts and clutch were so solid. This was back in 2018 so it was well over 10 years old at the time. Super fun to drive, nippy, great little car that me and my gran both miss dearly now, but have very fond memories of. 🚗❤

its good as a first car, 2000s opel are pretty reliable. i drive a 2002 Astra since 2013, and i only had 500 euros of repairs in those 11 years.

@@n8wolf575 got a 2007 corolla e140 and i had to pay 0 euros for repairs. Zero. It is at 130.000 km already, and really just had to do the oil and filter changes, and one piece of car battery in it. Crazy reliable.
Cool j'ai la 1.2 16v 2002 et je l'adore. Quand tu freine utilise le freins moteur surtout sous la pluie et en cas de gros freinage !

So einen hatte ich auch als Neuwagen der lief auf gerader laut Tacho 185 ! Hab den von Anfang an immer richtig ordentlich getreten.

very good driver never forget that is very dangerouswith that weather
brings me back. not my actual first car but very similar to it. a bit higher top speed because mine was an ute version of a later version this one, basically, and the extra drag could not be compensated by the extra 23 horsepower i had. it died at around 170kph, though i did hit redline at 5th a few times downhill at 188 kph

Our first car was the VW polo 6n2 from the year 2000. The car was slow, and the acceleration was horrible, but we still loved the car so much. Unfortunately, the car started to break down. Every month there was a problem, and it came to the point where the car wouldn't even start anymore, so we had to sell it.

NICE Corsa! In Brazil we didnt have the 1.2L versions because of market reasons. In the beginning it had 50hps but the last version on Brazl had 80hps with the 1.0l engine. The 1.4 had 104hps
The 1.8L had 112 or something
THe 1.8l was 8v and not 16v. IT had the GSI version with the 1.6L 16v
Got a sexy purple meriva with just a slightly better engine that also goes just over 180 max. Its fun to go to the max.
Also the wipers going all the way over to the left where no windshield is at the end is really funny too

In brazil we have a version 1.4L gasoline 105hp
I had one similar, Chevrolet Corsa Diesel 2002, it was the last year, so the car had more than 20 years and still working, my record is 160KMPH (99,4 Miles per hour), the car had a lot of problems so that was the first and last time i tried to beat that record, by the way, is a good number for a basic edition of the Corsa, plus was Diesel and with 21 years on it.
It had 245.000 KM, so 160KPMH it's a good number, not gonna lie
Thanks to good Cx coefficient and gear shift ratio Opel often had faster cars than it`s competitors. Vectra A-B, Calibra or Omega A was known to be evidently faster that their competitors with the same engine power.

drove this in driving school. solid, you can see out in every direction, very easy to drive and park. unfortunately, the corsa D was much worse - heavy, sluggish, bad visibility...

Das ist jetzt nur der 1.2 16V mit 80 PS, fahrt mal den GSi als 1.8 16V, das ist für den kleinen Wagen schon fast krank. Oder ich hatte mal den 1.7 CDTi mit 101 PS und 260 NM, der machte richtig Laune 😅
Ich fahre aktuell einen Corsa C mit der 1.4er Twinport Maschine. Der hat nochmal 10Ps mehr. Das Auto hängt wirklich gut am Gas. Ich wollte mir damals eigentlich auch den Gsi holen, aber die sind sehr selten geworden und im guten Zustand kosten sie aufgrund des Motors leider das doppelte 😅

wie meine Easytronic 80PS, aber ich mache selten 170 Vollgas um ihr weh tun. Ist schönes Auto , nicht aber auf lange strecken. Hier in B seit 2006 in meinem Besitz. Echter Eisenacher noch.. 👌

Что не нравилось в этих корсах, так это очень короткие передачи, им бы 6 передачу установить её всегда не хватало. Вот другое дело Getz 1.1 литра. Там придаточные числа подобраны правильно и двигатель тише работает. 120-130 крейсер когда акустический комфорт в машине

My Open Corsa C 1.2 75hp from 2001 with 450.000km can go 185km/h on the GPS but at that speed you are hovering the road and no control :))

Mad thing was the D also got the 1.0 engine. I think it was only available in the base model expression and did 0-60mph in 20 seconds

Opel COMBO 1.3 CDTI 75km 170 leciałem , jak na 75 koni to rakieta ma jada tylko to zajechane auto było dostawcze więc myślę że taka perełka to by z 180 może i poleciała nieskatowana bo dostawcą byłem to laga do spodu 1,2,3 także skatowane auta były ostro dostawly w dupe ale tak ma być !!!!!!!!!!!!
