I saw somebody talking about how they "saved" their kid's artwork over the years. They would display it/save it for a set amount of time and then they would take a photo of it. After they had a number of photos they would make a photo book titles something like "The Gigi Braun Collection- Age 5". I wish I would have done something like that with my kids' artwork when they were smaller.
That is such a good idea!
I make yearly photo albums and work artwork scans or photos into it. Perfect way to remember forever.
I used to love Thred-Up for selling my clothing, and although I have always felt like their payout is somewhat of a joke, it was better than having to haul them around to donate, and it gave me a little store credit for my own shopping. But the recent changes they have made have totally turned me off to them. They refused over half of my items in the last clean out, which they had never done before...all brand names, barely used, and many with tags on. They could offer me no explanation. The new fee to list them wiped out what little I made on what they did accept. On the buying side, in the last couple of months, I received some very worn items, all marked "excellent", many reeking of cigarette smoke or perfume. So, they didn't take perfectly clean and new items I sent, but they send me items marked excellent that are pathetically worn and smelly? No thanks! I no longer buy or sell with them anymore. I donate them to our local women's shelter now and feel much better about that.

honestly same. I was excited when I discovered them and liked the clothes I got through them but the last order I got sizes that definitely were not correct. I wear women's size L-XL, I shouldn't have to squeeze into size 16 button downs. When I did my cleanout kits they took almost half a year to process and the payout I got was $8 for almost 3 boxes of clothes. Now they're charging for cleanout kits, $14 or something? What's the point of paying someone to sell my clothes when I could donate them for free? I wish there was another way to get some money back for gently used clothes.
Omg, I could've written this word for word. I just deleted my account and don't care if I get even paid for the one shirt I sold. They refused so many good clothing I tried to sell, clothing practically brand new. I am just going to donate to a woman's shelter as well.
I told my kid to take photos of things to keep as memories when we need to declutter. It has helped reduce the amount of stuff in her room and still validates that the items had meaning to her. Taking a photo of it confirms it was special even though it’s no longer needed.

Warning about sending in to Thredup -- My bags recently have taken 4-6 months for them to process, so plan accordingly! Payout is often VERY low as well unless they are designer brands. I would definitely recommend an in person consignment store over thredup because at least then the turnaround is much quicker.
They also have a $15 service fee!
You need to pour leftover coffee into ice trays and make coffee ice cubes. Then, you never have to worry about having watered down iced offee 😊
My daughter loved rocks. I was always finding them in her pockets. I remember getting her a box from container store to keep them in at one time, and she acted like it was the best thing ever!
She passed away at age 30 in 2018, and I am happy to say I have a small stash of her school artwork and just a few baby clothes. She was born in 1988! I’m shocked I still have them, but I’m also so glad that I do.

I lost my son right before his 30th birthday and I treasure every little thing I kept from his childhood!! Such a blessing, we can't keep everything but some are too good to get rid of:)

Let Gigi make her own treasure box and she can keep what she wants as long as it fits inside. I do this with most stuff. Don’t buy more hangers; I use the rule of one it and one out. My ultimate test if something is organized is if I can put it away with one hand. 💕🐾💕💜
I recently sold to thred up, not sure if this is usually the case but it took them 6 months just to process the bag. I kept getting updates saying they were backed up/busier than ever, but it was a frustrating experience. The payouts aren’t worth it compared to local consignment shops or Poshmark in my opinion.

I paid extra for the expedited processing. I sent them a brand new designer handbag and they never even acknowledged it. When I emailed them about it, I was told it didn’t meet their standards. Meanwhile, the same bag is listed for sale on their site. I tried escalating and providing proof to no avail. A lesson hard learned.

The drawer is a good idea or a box. We actively taught our kid that decluttering is part of life, that when she's tired or outgrown something we can bless someone else with it. Before each birthday she'd choose some items to bless others, so like when she was turning 9 then 9 items. She eventually saw how much easier life is with less things. Totally echo Minimalist Mom for ideas or But First, Coffee.
I'm so glad you're teaching/taught your kid about decluttering! I've had to learn it as an adult (currently in my early 30s) and it's HARD! So worth it, and I have amazing RUclips role models, but definitely something I'll be trying to teach my future kids starting when they're young too!
I went to Costco last Sunday and it has been life changing . Their cakes are honestly the best cakes I've eaten. Better than the local bakery I must say. 😊
I love a good closet purge. Helps me figure out what clothes I actually need once my closet isn’t cluttered.
We are working in the office again and it’s been nice to purge old work clothes (because they don’t fit anymore) and get a little more current. We are more business casual now and updating the wardrobe has been fun.
I’ve used Thredup recently! It took over 9 months for them to process my bag 😂
I got a few dollars in the end but not really worth it. It’s a good option if you don’t really care about what you’re sending in and are ok with only getting Pennies out of it. It is really easy in the sense that you just pack it up, ship it out and your done.

I love going inside of Sephora & Ulta! It’s so fun swatching and seeing all the new things and trying them for myself.
When my kids were little, I had to go through their toys and stuff when they were at their grandparents or school. They wanted to keep broken stuff and anything they could. Also, I told them about less fourtunate kids that didn’t have money for toys. They loved helping people. One year they came home from school and they knew a brother and sister who was less fortunate,they asked me if they could give them their winter coats from the year before. That was a proud momma moment.

Love this 😊 I'm going on a girls weekend tomorrow 7 months post partum and had a huge stress about what I can wear, couldn't find anything in the shops. I've just been in the loft and found so many clothes that I totally forgot about from before pregnancy that I can now fit back into and also breastfeed in! Im absolutely thrilled!
When I put these clothes away, I only put things that I would buy again from the shop if I saw it new - that really helped ❤

Ive been wearing the Saie blush for almost 3 weeks now?? I bought it as soon as it said in store.... I LOVE IT. Not sticky at all, amazing glow... So easy to use... I have the mauve glow and will go back to buy pink glow for when I'm less tan. I use it everyday... Love love love it!

UNIQLO has been my SPOT since visiting one in NYC year ago. They have expanded their sizing and opened a store in Chicago (there were two but now there's one in the city and one in the burbs). EVERYTHING is great. You CANNOT go wrong. The QUALITY is the key. They also pay attention to seasonal trends, have designer collaborations or collections, work with brands like Disney and are generally big on art being part of their brand. I am so sincere when I say, you can't go wrong with anything you purchase from them.

My favorite brush similar to that is a wet brush that has the boar bristles and the ball tip plastic bristles. It smooths the hair really well and is really gentle. It distributes the natural oils really well.
I did an abc book for my child when they were little. We found meaningful things in our lives, took photos and it was a great way to capture special items forever. Hoewver a small drawer or bin for treasures is nice. My child had a nightstand drawer.

Pro iced coffee tip, don’t brew over ice!! Put your creamer or milk in your hot coffee FIRST, it cools the coffee down so that when you add ice it won’t melt. It leaves your drink coffeehouse quality creamy! Love your vlogs girl! ❤

About 2 months ago i lost 35lbs now im a 3/4 and i was a 7 to a 9 in pants I had to go shopping.. I men i had old clothes but you are most differently definitely right when you say when u loose weight you will want to go shopping for new clothes.. I went to Playdoes closet its a second hand store and i went crazy but only spent 28 dollars but i got 8 new pairs of shorts a pair of missme pants and 3 tops it was wonderful i feel soo good i recently just went through my closet as well and it was Such A Good Feeling... ❤❤❤❤ Thanks Jess

Oh stop with the “but but she gets botox” insults. Who cares if people get botox? That’s a ridiculous assumption, just because she gets Botox she doesn’t deserve a compliment on her skin condition. Do you really think just because Angie gets Botox, that automatically cures all her skin problems and skin texture? Because Botox doesn’t help with skin texture or skin conditions. Botox simply relaxes the muscles in your face, it doesn’t do anything else. Angie’s skin is great because she works hard at it, and she’s very consistent with her skincare regimen. Stop being so jealous and rude lady 🙄

The drawer system is awesome because they own it & then when it overflows they have to make some decisions. As long as they know ahead of time that's the only drawer & it's not allowed to spill over into other areas!!
Totally onboard with the UNIQLO shirts, they are my favorite things on earth. Also, as grown human beings my sister and I invested in the snack containers from Costco and they are great. I am a teacher and they are great for packing snacks on the go. The characters on them are just a cute plus.
