Ended up purchasing it and everything you mentioned confirmed it. You have great mic control without a pop filter. Hard decision over the Rode NT Mini and the free Rode Caster software but a dynamic mic is the only way to be successful in an untreated room. Thanks again great mic stand option.
Thanks for this review, what would be a better sound quality alternative of a mic that can record simultaneously from USB-C and XLR ? Rode does have a nice one but they put the USB-C connector inside the XLR connector ! Others provide that but with the good old mini-USB like the Samson Q2U /Blue Yeti Pro X 🙄
Great review! I have an interview coming up and don’t want the microphone in the frame, is there a boom microphone you could recommend that has similar quality like the atr2100x? Thank you!
Can anyone help me please? I can't get the volume to peak at -6 dB even when talking quite loud an inch from the microphone with the ATR 2100x plugged in USB recording via Audacity with the gain at 100 pct..? I read that it could come from Windows so I reajusted the strength of the signal manually through the Windows 11 menus but it didn't change a thing.
Hey! I am a voice ove artist and want to purchase this mic but i do not have a laptop so i wanted to ask if we can connect it to an android phone and i live in a very noisy area so how is the noise cancellation of this mic? I'll be bery grateful if you reply coz i need to buy a mic urgently! Kindly reply soon🙏
It may be possible with an adapter but it depends on the specifics of the phone. Get in touch with Audio-Technica support directly and they can let you know for sure. As for noise isolation it doesn't actively cancel noise but is designed to pick up sound directly in front of it. A great mic for voiceover.

Glad to hear my video was helpful, happy recording!
Hey! Is this microphone suitable for recording vocals, extreme vocals and audiobooks?
No post processing at all?.... Very informative, thank you!!!
im going to buy this mic tomorrow thanks for the review
Glad my review was helpful, enjoy the new mic!
Wow, thanks for the review! I needed a mic, but my area has none of them except this one and this video helped me decide if I should buy it or not.
Happy to hear it!

I haven't done a review on anything along those lines unfortunately. Let me know your use case and if something comes up, I'll keep this in mind.
Thanks for the review. Do you know if ATR 2100x works reliably with Windows 10?
I haven't come across any issues.
How do I get it to do live monitoring on my Galaxy ultra smartphone? I need to do some man on the scene interviews and I wanted to use my cell phone.
Can it be used in a home studio?
I'm thinking of buying atr 2100x for recording vocals. Singing, mostly? Should I go for it?
I don't see why not, it's a good microphone in this price range.
Hey thanks for the review, but First 45 seconds from which microfone? Was it from your camera?
That's the Deity D3 Pro: ruclips.net/video/pLgdXCl9FLk/видео.html

Thanks! I have used the Deity D3 Pro with a Samson MK-10 mic stand that should work well. Here's my review: ruclips.net/video/pLgdXCl9FLk/видео.html
Thank you, I looked at the D3 but ended up ordering the D4 mini, at a lower price point for a one time use, it should be more than enough I hope 😅
Thanks for great review, and clarity on why not to buy podcast mic
Glad it was helpful!
Friendly with Android Mobile ?
nice review man. got the same mic and love it.
Sweet!
Real Question: Is the atr2100x better than the Samson Q2U , money aside?
Haven't done a side by side of those two so I can't say for sure.
Great review. Thanks.
I appreciate you letting me know, thanks!

I have the same issue as you and I’m trying to find a solution. Did you fix the issue?
This is the best mic for 99% of people. It definitely needs a pop filter though!
Thankyou for this video
