There are several factors in studying electronics. One resource I found which successfully combines these is the Gregs Electro Blog (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible info that I've heard of. look at this interesting resource.
When R is used in the code, it represents the decimal point. So, 2R70 is basically 2.7 ohm and likewise, 0R24 is 0.24 ohm. I hope, it will clear your doubt.
very good, Clear Understanding Video ... if Capacitors , Diodes & Transistors SMD identification video is present in your channel, please give those links ...
nice video, but do you have a video like this for smd brown looking mini components wich i think is capacitor.. dont know how to know wich it is and how to know how big i need to change
Unless you have a circuit diagram , I think you won't be able to find the value of that resistor. Is the code still visible on that, I doubt that though.
@@ALLABOUTELECTRONICS I have seen the circuit diagram the model number of the board is same as that of the circuit diagram and the resistor is said to be 4R7 but there are other resistor on board which do not match with the diagram
Sir please tell me the value of 8F5 , i am not sure if it is a resistor or smd ceramic capacitor ,i want to find the value , 8F5 is written on the board and not on component it self ,......... Please help me sir jus tell me the vale of 8F5 ,🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😗😗😗😗😗😗
@@ALLABOUTELECTRONICS Yeah, I'm trying to find the code/ value of tiny smt/smd capacitor/ resistor on a playstation 3 console motherboard. It's a pain to know.
It acts like a jumper. When you want to connect two tracks then it can be used. Its particularly used for smd components. For normal PCB, we can used jumper but the PCB with smd components 0 ohm resistor is useful.
If the resistor is burnt out then it won't behave like a resistor in most cases. So, even if you measure the resistance using the multi-meter, it won't give you the proper reading. If it is not burnt out and let's say some how the code is not visible then the value of the resistance can be found out using the multi-meter.
1001 means (100)*10^1 = 1000 = 1k if you have a code abcd the value will be the concatenation of (abc) multiplied by 10^d. So 5103 means (510)*10^3 = 510000 = 510k
@ave Maria Stephina the best way to read resistors with colors black to white or numbers 0 to 9 is just to treat them all as numbers with the first two or three as the value and the last one as the number of zeroes :-) when you have gold , silver or the letter R it is the position of the decimal point with gold being dot (or R) in between the numbers , and silver the dot (or R) in front of the numbers :-) but with new color band resistors it is best to use a meter , its too easy to read from wrong end :-)

Great job, thank you very much. !!
Thank you, for this content.
Very good tutorial, now I know how to read smt resistor, how about smt capacitor?
Will also cover it in some other video.
Nice explain bro
Sir one doubt 3.54
4 digit smd register
0R24=. 0.2*10^4= 2kohm
But
You told 0.24 ohm
Which one is correct??
When R is used in the code, it represents the decimal point. So, 2R70 is basically 2.7 ohm and likewise, 0R24 is 0.24 ohm. I hope, it will clear your doubt.
If R presents in both 4 and 5 SMD Resistor codings its mean there is no multiplier. Right?
4,5 coding 4R0, 5R0
X10 would be a 10 ohm resistor?
What are the ones without labels?
thanks sir.for the topic.
How about this l0l on smd, how does it read? Thanks!
SMD resistor coding schemes very well explained. Thank you !
Thank you for the excellent video.
However, I have a resistor with only "0" (zero) on it! What does that mean PLEASE?!
Its zero ohm resistor
8
Excellent explanation..Thanks a lot!!!!!Good vibrations to You !!!
very nice bro
tnks this big idea
I am amazed about your clear explanations. Thank you very much.
If pc is shut down in running what is the reason behind it to solve to work properly again kindly make the video for same
i think measure smd resistor with Multimeter faster than table value but for repair circuits some times need it. thanks good video.
I thought SMD's were some type of controller lol. Thank you for the fast and good video! I understand alot now.
I have a friend from Kerala with your the same accent, are you from Kerala Baei?
Thankyou sir 😃
I never had known this before
THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXPLANATION I CAN'T USED OLD RESISTOR THE SAME VALUE
Thanks bro i needed that clear explanation u used english
Well done
السلام علیکم
Ager koi smd resistor circuit mein burn ho gai ho to hum us ki value kaisay nikal saktay hai
Plz lazmi btaiye ga
If it is burnt then it is difficult to measure the resistor value. (Unless it is written over the component or on the PCB).
Thanks for the info. God bless you.
Very useful, thank you! :-)
Amazing knowledge. Nice teaching. Thanks
Well explained, nice job.
You explained step by step nice video
Thanks bro very helpful 👌
Don't you really mean SMT? not SMD. the components in the thumbnail are SMT components.
I am an SMT Line Inspector.
leche kind of pronounsation
very good, Clear Understanding Video ... if Capacitors , Diodes & Transistors SMD identification video is present in your channel, please give those links ...
Does the size matter for smd tks and are there + or - or i can solder them both ways tks
For SMD resistor, there is no polarity. It can be connected either way.
Everything but the color
thank you
very good explanation
Very useful thank you
30A and 68A sir?
tnx a lot sir for such valuable information
What is the value 10
nice video, but do you have a video like this for smd brown looking mini components wich i think is capacitor.. dont know how to know wich it is and how to know how big i need to change
some resistors have no number on them, how can we get their values
In such case, you can measure the value manually using a Multimeter.
Very well explained. Thanks.
Nicely explained.
very nice.. thank you
What is the value in ohms if R62 written on in SMD pcb in SMPS
How about the 3digit code sm resistor with a dash marking in the 2nd number of smd resistor?
one of my smd resistor is blown how am I supposed to find the value for it?

i dont understand
How to identity that is resistor, capacitor, diode, transistor, regulator etc?
thank you sir the info
I have an smd with the code 'W' on my AIO motherboard, what does code mean??
Sir, what is the actual device no. for EHUG9
some SMD has no value written. so we can take it as 0 huh ??
Thank you!

I am confused because it is not written 8R5 or 8K5 but 8F5 which i have seen for the first time
Please upload some videos regarding PLC and DATA ACQUISITION
Very helpful
Thank you brother
How to find correct NF Uf burned smd capacitor ?
How do you find the value of the ones which has no code on them?
Using multimeter, you can check the resistance, if the code is not given.
@@ALLABOUTELECTRONICS Yeah, I'm trying to find the code/ value of tiny smt/smd capacitor/ resistor on a playstation 3 console motherboard. It's a pain to know.
How to find resistor value if and resistor is burned and if can't see code, is there any way we can find value by R92 code written motherboard ?
0.92 ohm ka resister hai R92
Thank you so much sir for this topic i was craving for it
have resistor here 688 cant fund value for it anywhere
Very nice sir
thank brother . ihave question how about capacitor?
Sir what is the need of smd jumper..plz reply
Nice. Explain how a resistor connect the microcontroller.
Đerka
Very useful
Sir how to recognize the Smd ceramic cap codes .....sir please make full video about this topic ....
I will make a video on it too.
Nice explanation bro 👌👏🤝
What will be the value of A50
Hii sir.. Smd risistor 1201 have any direction or any polarity??
No, resistors do not have any direction or polarity like a capacitor.
You can connect them in either direction in the circuit.
very good vid ! thank you !
Is there any app. To find the value instead of table brother??????!!!!!!!!
Some online calculators are available.
How find tolerance in smd resistors
How do you identify a SMD resistor that has no markings??
If there is no marking then you can measure the resistance using multimeter. ( SMD Tweezer)
4B2X how to find this
Very clearly explained
Thankyou Sir 👍👍👍
Super bro you explain
Sir plz explain '0' ohm resistor and why use on pcb ?
It acts like a jumper. When you want to connect two tracks then it can be used. Its particularly used for smd components.

Sir jo resistor mobile phone me usg hote lekin unpar koi cord nhi likha ho he to use ke se faind out kere ge
If nothing is given, the best is to use a multimeter to find out the resistance.
Multimeter se find out kar sakte hai resistance.
Can you tell me how to identify the number on the resistor which is burnt out
If the resistor is burnt out then it won't behave like a resistor in most cases. So, even if you measure the resistance using the multi-meter, it won't give you the proper reading.
If it is not burnt out and let's say some how the code is not visible then the value of the resistance can be found out using the multi-meter.
@@ALLABOUTELECTRONICS thanks a lot 👍👍
Superb bro
4 digit smd resistor code example is wrong
If 1001 is 1k
Then 5103 is not 510k
1001 means (100)*10^1 = 1000 = 1k
if you have a code abcd the value will be the concatenation of (abc) multiplied by 10^d. So 5103 means (510)*10^3 = 510000 = 510k
