Very thankful for the great response this video has gotten. I hope that I have answered all your questions in as best as I could, and if any more come in ill try my best for a fast response. I really did try to be unbiased and give an opinion on this product itself. I do see people commenting saying "Is it as good as this" or "This isn't as good as -----" That was not the point of the video. The video was just made to let other enthusiasts of the subs and wubs know that this is a fantastic product! When it comes to comparing, I personally cannot compare it to much, other than the party box 300. The soundboks has nearly twice the output, twice the battery life, wireless daisy chaining and xlr connections, but no lights. sound-wise, its much louder and more pronounced at higher volumes. With Bass plus turned on, the bass is strong. I hope this helps for those that are curious, be kind to one another and make sure to smile :)
I just received my new Soundboks 3 and it has far exceeded my expectations. The sound is so clear and with that bass + mode it really kicks ass. Frankly for me I just leave it on bass+ all the time and it is perfect at all volumes. If you are not using it at full volume that battery lasts forever even in bass + mode. In reality this speaker is so loud, unless you are hosting a large dance party, you would never use it at full volume on a regular basis, hence the battery lasts a long long time under normal usage. I rarely write comments but this speaker is so unbelievable I had to!
@@LukasBlau I do not have the SB2 but from what I have read the SB3 has better bass once you do the Firmware update. I am so glad I chose the SB3 over SB2.

Is there a marginal difference between pre app update and after the update with the Bass+ mode, because there were complaints that the bass was too upper (around 100hz area) which isn't that nice? Does it hit those low 40hz deep basses? Honest opinion would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hey there, thanks for the question. I didn't realize that the app had an update or have heard of the complaints, but I will say the performance from 40 -70 is nice and low. its not going to pound like a 12 inch sub in the back of your car, but it Is going to really pound harder than most battery powered bluetooth speakers. Like I said, the low end is very very good and exceeded my expectations that I had from watching other videos before purchasing.I really hopes this helps !
@@sykonautsmusic7532 Thanks for the quick reply, I truly like the idea behind this speaker. I am trying to justify the purchase for 6 months. I was going to buy it but then i saw Teufel's Rockster which on videos sounds more full by sound but lacks this portable design. I was struggling to choose between them, because i liked the SB more but i wanted more raw power, and eventually i got the Teufel. But i still want to get this speaker and when i saw your video you almost bought it for me :D. I wonder if SB can connect to different brand of bluetooth speaker with the Aux output. I might finally buy it and connect it to my Teufel for the ultimate party sound.
Two questions. How long culd you carry this thing before you get really tierd? How long away on max volyme can you feel the bass hiting your body, is it strong bass for a speaker that portable and that size?
Hey David, Soundboks makes a backpack feature ( it costs quite a bit unfortunately but will make it easier to transport) that is a wonderful add on for your Soundboks. depending on how strong you are, you can pack it either short distances or long distances with a few arm switches and breaks along the way . tough question about the bass, but id say anything within 30-40 feet. It all depends on location as well !
First off thank you for the video. Second how does this stacks up against the atlantec thunder? I'm looking for a speaker to have my room shake while watching movies but also great to take out side for movie projector nights... 👀 And to make random block parties off my roof lol
Yo man, I haven't heard of the other brand, but in simpler terms 126dB is within the threshold of pain. This means exposure to the Soundboks at max volume from close proximity can be damaging to the ears within times as short as 10 minutes. Its very very Loud and will shake your house. This speaker is ideal for block parties off of your roof. No cords to run, hassle free. If you plan on having longer parties, and are not on the bass plus mode, I would recommend purchasing a second batteryboks for a longer party. Hope this helps !
Hey man, yes you can feel the bass, but its not like you're going to be sticking your head into a PK sub. It is a great low end after the updates as well as app being brought in.
Hi mate thanks for the video, mines is arriving tomorrow and I'm very much looking forward to it! You mentioned hooking up a laptop and decks whilst at festivals. Potentially silly question but how would plan to keep the laptop charged when playing? This is something I'm looking to do and understand the connection from boks to mixer just not sure how I'd keep the laptop charged for more than an hour or so, is there a separate power bank of some sort?
GREAT QUESTION !! You'll need to purchase some sort of inverter. They can be pricy, but I plan to build one with a radio flyer cart, one or 2 12 volt batteries, and then the inverter for multiple connections.
@@artinsahakyan I can honestly say it's even better than I thought it would be. I was slightly hesitant as I'd seen some reviews against partybox1000 & diamond box Xl which suggested that the SB lacked bass or wasn't as clean sounding. It's absolutely amazing, the bass is very punchy even on normal mode and the new bass+ mode they added with the update makes a massive difference. Volume wise it's absolutely crazy, I've had it up to max just once in the last couple of days but even in a large open space you'll very quickly piss some people off! For comparison I use a KRK Rokit 6's set up for home DJing, and playing indoors the sound quality difference is minimal with the SB having the ability to go way louder with punchier bass. In short yes it's expensive, but if you're looking for a portable speaker that genuinely sounds brilliant with a crazy battery life I couldnt recommend it enough!
