Surprised the idea of a documentary about film scores hasn't been done before. Kudos to the director for finally giving some attention to the people who really pull our heartstrings in films.
THIS IS THE DOCUMENTARY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! GIMME NOW!!!
tpstps85 WHERE CAN I WATCH IT???/WHEN DOES IT COME OUT???!!!!
sorry, no idea... waiting for it just like everyone else.
It's coming out June 16: www.score-movie.com/
tpstps85 SAME! I CAME HERE TO COMMENT THAT!! NOBODY HAS ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I NEED THIS MOVIE AND HOW BADLY I WANT TO SEE IT!!!
Library, FOC.
I'm obsessed with movie soundtracks and their composers so this is absolutely perfect!!! A film I will unfortunately have to see on my own. But will be amazing
it hurts me physically that this film didn't come out a couple years ago. since I love James Horner
korky94 Yes I hope the still talk about him in it
They did, in a somewhat touching way :)
He has the most tender melodies ...my favorite composer❤
James Horner is amazing....
Soundtrack lovers unite! Let us sign a petition to make John Debney release the extended Spongebob Squarepants OST !
Yes 👏🏼 I’ll even throw in money.
Does anyone know the musical piece being played starting around 1:45 through the remainder of the trailer?
Such a great documentary. I highly recommended it to those who haven’t seen it.
If anyone has found an mp3 for the John Debney track @ 01:45 in the trailer for this film, please link to it!
The final track of this trailer, starting @ 01:45, can be found @ 00:56:42 in The SponeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water. [Credit: Josue Duperon]
I fuckin can't believe that that is true o.O
And to anyone thinking it's on the soundtrack, it isn't. It's only in the movie. :/
It is in the documentary at 59mn
You’re kidding
About time they made a documentary about movie scores!
Did they say James Horner and i missed it? He was amazing.
Saw it. Loved it. Purchased it. If you love music scores /soundtracks, you'll love it.
So glad I saw this in the theatres!!!!!!!
yessssssss!!! watching Hans Zimmer Revealed last week was epic. This is a must!!!
Best documentary ever!
I LOVE this! :D
Mind blown. I’ll never watch a film the same again. 👏
All my money is being thrown at the screen right now, as I am shouting... SUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
Fave scores? Jerry Goldsmith's "Alien", Vangelis "Blade Runner", Clint Mansell "Requiem For A Dream", Bernard Hermann "Taxi Driver".
*Excellent.*
Where's Alexandre Desplat? And Alan Silvestri? :((
:((
YES PLEASE!
What’s the song at the end?
I have seen this movie and absolutely love it. 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩
cant wait!!
FAVORITED!!!
What’s the score of min 1:49? Can’t find it anywhere
My professor is in this movie! She’s a doll
Where can i watch the docu??
YESSSSSS FINALLY
I'm disappointed that it doesn't have Murray Gold from Doctor Who in it.
Whats the song called where John debeny is saying "its like seeing your child for the first time, being born"
I'm trying to find that out too, it's magnificent!
Did anyone find it
@@samueldent3159 It's actually from one of Debeny's scores for the Spongebob Out of the Water Movie... Unfortunately it is only a minute long piece or so and not available as a "standalone" piece... At least I didn't find anything after some exteeeensive amount of searching :-( PS: It's the scene where they are heading to the surface (56:30min)
whats the song called where he says that its like a baby being born?
SpongeBob Out of Water movie, particularly the scene where they're traveling through the ocean towards the pirate's kiosk. Unfortunately, its not on the released soundtrack. :(
@@Mtmelendez No I've watched the movie, no way we can listen the soundtrack
What is that song called that comes at the end?
I saw this documentary but they didnt mention hames Horner and I dont know why
1:44 anyone knows which score is that???
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
it's not that.
Loris, do you know what it's from?
no Jake!! i'm sorry :( i'm stilll searching also :(
I’m not sure, but it almost sounds like the score from Signs, M Knight Shyamalan’s film, when the alien is killed toward the end.
what’s the transformers song called they used in the film
Lockdown
What is the music in the end?
Andri Gigerl That's what I'm wondering.
Its the theme song to street sharks.
It's The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water by John Debney.
Josue Duperon, I've pulled up that score and listened track by track and didn't hear it anywhere. What track is it specifically that you think it's on?
It's not in the soundtrack, but it is in the movie. The scene where SpongeBob smells Krabby Patties, then he and the Bikini Bottom citizens follow the smell up to the surface.
I always notice when they skimp on the soundtrack. The soundtrack is very important.
when does this come out and order it come out in theatres?
Library, FOC
Yes Yes yes yes yes
what is the last score?
John Debney's score from The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
@@josueduperon6120 no isnt
I hope they mention Jerry Goldsmith and John Carpenter.
What's the score at 1:45??
No Morricone? Blargh..
RIGHT?! I hope they mention him at some point though
And Steiner. And Herrmann. And an elder Newman. And Jarre. And Conti.
Igor Berigo de Carvalho He's on the cast list. Anybody who's anyone is on the cast list. Check IMDb.
I was thinking the exact same thing. How can you talk about scores without mentioning Morricone? Beats me.
He shows up in the film. Don’t worry ;)
"We can make you feel anything we want you to feel."
very unnerving comment
But true
Disappointing that they did not include Joe Hisaishi.
first
Sorry for dislike i just love number 5 and wanted to be the 5 th guy to dislike this video
At one point in this trailer they mention a new renaissance happening in film music. Give me a break! Film music today blows compared to the 60's and 70's
