Today I reached my goal on my own personal playthrough ... 1.8Tw dyson sphere, 10 Million white universe matrix... science complete... and I have 28 achievements left... most are only done early game... and the remaining I have not done due to my amazing 9FPS... next update... I will play again... I enjoyed every hour!
Damn, that rocket launcher build at the very end of the video is disgustingly effective, I love it!!! And yeah, you end up kinda needing things like these when you're dealing with max-size Dyson sphere around O-type stars, if you don't want to die of old age.
The biggest fps drain for me are the spheres. I'm building max density spheres in multiple systems each with multiple rocket launcher/ejector only planets (~1000 rockets and 6000 sails per second). The only way to have it running (at something like 12/24) is disabling all the dyson spheres in-game (there are checkboxes in the sphere editor). If i just display one layer of one dyson sphere, the fps/ups drops by 50%. In the statistics menu, there is a "performance" tab, which shows you what eats up all the FPS. drawing the sphere falls under "draw call", just managing the dyson swarm eats 15% of my FPS, the whole production lines for science and sails and rockets is 55%. There is also a mod, that optimizes some stuff and does not break the savegame. The whole setup is so bad that turning of my science (15k white/minute) and letting it run for hours to saturate and shut down the whole science production chains is barely noticeable in the FPS. And i'm only at 27 TW, the math limit on he best seeds is about 1 Peta Watt. It's so annoying that for all those games (factory, Satisfactory, DSP...) the hardware is the limit.
I really encourage you to check Optim Mod, I'm at like 3TW save game, and still have 70 fps/60ups, and I seems that adding new sphere don't do anything, game run perfectly with mods :)
I think if you want it synced forever. turn the power on the launchers. then turn it off. That way they are all loaded. then when you turn power on again, they will be loaded and launching in sync forever. What drives them out of sync is that they werent loaded at the exact same time.
I did a 1tw sphere a couple years or so ago...i was at 2-9 fps in the sphere system. Elsewhere it was SLIGHTLY better lol. It would be about 12-18 fps at best. I built a new PC since then....and I just started playing again.
If only they can give us an upgrade to the Solar Sail absorption rate. In the current state of the game, it is slow at a rate of 1 every two seconds, with a maximum of 120 at any given time in each node. If we could have the ability to at least double the rate it would really speed up construction.
Deleting stuff is somehow weird in terms of increasing performance. I have tried myself but I never get back to the original frames. So bascially if I build a whole planet the frames drop by a certain percentage and if I delete it all again, it does not got back exactly. So there seems some "ghosts" which eat up frames :). At the end I suppose they desynchronized due to spraying.....?
I suspect they must do some sort of heuristic while you're gone to simplify the graph of inputs and outputs...while you're watching, some fuzzy scientific notation estimates are happening...so deleting the underlying entities doesn't actually reduce the number of calculations very much. Would very much like the devs to do a friday facts style blog like factorio where they explain the calculations and optimizations because this stuff is absurdly complex.
This is awesome. How many solar systems will you need to tap for resources to make this Dyson Sphere? Does each Cell point of the Dyson Sphere require 1 carrier rocket? If so, 32m cell points will need around 3.5 billion stone, 3 billion Silicon and iron ore... I suspect there are going to be quite a few solar systems tapped and turned into forge systems to feed the Nilaus Empire.
Pretty sure the rocket desync was because the first batch of rockets wasn't proliferated, since the proliferators were unpowered. Once the proliferated batch started rolling in, some launchers got faster rockets than others.
Might have found a bug in the DS Fast Builder Blueprint. Half the ring was firing and needed to reverse the sorter connections to get the belts feeding the entire small carrier rocket ring. I could totally be wrong too.
im trying to get stone and coal off a planet it says its a "g" type planet. i looked through your videos but I don't see a "g" type or im not understanding the types. so could you help me get the materials off this planet? thanks
Why don't you use mods to make the game run better? You could have easily 70+fps at 60 ups with some mods ! The run would be smoother for you and for the videos :)
"why are my frames bad" he says, sitting in a system producing and shooting a gazillion solar sails and a gorillion rockets
The fact that there's still frame left after the massive construction is an (game) engineering marvel.

they really need to do another optimization patch
@@TaoriUTS the new patch fixed many things. For me it now runs at good 60 ups. If farm is active than 50 ups to 22 fps.
Wow fantastic
yknow what i wholeheartedly agree with you; that ending shot IS fucking amazing haha
Spooning rocket launchers 😂 All in the name of efficiency!

You have such a knack for explaining things clearly. Awesome job!
Before watching the video, I'd like to say that you did a great job and it's really good!
We need a post video update, sunRay04
@@keyofdoornarutorscatPost video uppdate: nothing changed

there is a mod for that

I would love a video of just the sphere being build. So interesting to watch. With all the solar sails, rockets and ships flying everywhere! 😄
WOW!!! Another great episode.
So you did "double it" in the end :D

Vein utilization upgrades. Pretty quickly your resources become infinite

This is so beautiful !
Welcome to Nilaus' DSP, where the builds are insane and the frames don't matter😂
Hide layers "In game" on your shell to get better fps.. I know, its not as cool, but... performance
I didn't know you could turn off the AI. Thank you for that. I don't need to be told I'm in Warp mode lol
@Nilaus maybe you could give Beltmatic a try. Just another factory builder.
Might have found a bug in the DS Fast Builder Blueprint. Half the ring was firing and needed to reverse the sorter connections to get the belts feeding the entire small carrier rocket ring. I could totally be wrong too.
JUST EPIC!!!
very good
i am impressed 🤩
before 100 views! love your vids and bet il love this one!
I think the most beautiful part of the game is the phase where the Dyson sphere is being built. After it's built, it feels more boring lol
I'll take, Why is my UPS so bad, for 1200 Alex. The reason why cpu limitations are lowering the fps. What is, millions of tracked instances?
Feel like I liked the old warping sound better.
i miss factorio space exploration :/
im trying to get stone and coal off a planet it says its a "g" type planet. i looked through your videos but I don't see a "g" type
or im not understanding the types.
so could you help me get the materials off this planet?
thanks
What is the yellow fuel rod in the mecha panel?
Strange Annihilation Rod. It's a Dark Fog upgrade for Anti-Matter Fuel Rods that you get with loot from higher level DF enemies.
Whats the name of the mod that aloys you to set transport ranges on the ILS??
No mods used
You did make a clickbait title after all) Moar engagement!
Planet is propbs running out of power, so rocket launching de-syncronized.
This game has a scaling issue... a Nilaus and Kibitz scaling issue.
Why don't you use mods to make the game run better?
You could have easily 70+fps at 60 ups with some mods ! The run would be smoother for you and for the videos :)
My pc commit suicide just running half of these😢
i get 24 fps no matter what settings and where i am.
Did you go into your Dyson sphere builder screen(Hotkey Y or w/e) and turn off Shell display for in game?
