I remember that back in the 1970's that the .22-250 was all the rage about shooting whislepigs. My Grandma told us grandkids about how our Great-Granddad would kill groundhogs and Great-Grandma would fix it for dinner during the Great Depression. I've never eaten groundhog. But I served in the Army. I've had worse. But it's all good with hot sauce!!
Groundhogs are terrible
Woodchucks are extremely tough and difficult to delete. Are you sure the .300 Win Mag is enough gun for them? I would think the 50 bmg might be a better choice for the super tough woodchuck.😆

I have only seen one groundhog this year and he is no longer with us. Cant wait to get an update on the split brow buck. If he's still around he should be a real hammer this year.

My crossbow from my back deck is 12 out of 13 for one shot take downs in the last 2 years. They still keep showing up to reek havoc with the garden
The deer have been chewin' on my tomatoes! That's a first. I know it's deer because of the tracks. It's not a horned caterpillar. There's a momma doe with a fawn that I've been seeing on a regular basis hanging around in the hay field behind my house. Well, nothing to do about it now!
