I'd like to correct something you've stated about the plugs though - in the Owner's Handbook, according to the diagram in the 'Maintenance and Adjustment, Oil and Oil Filter Change' section (page 65 in mine, for a 2017), I believe you have confused/reversed the oil tank drain plug with the front sump drain plug... I only want to bring this to everyone's attention since the crush washers are different sizes for some of the plugs (Qty. 2 of one size, and Qty. 1 of a different size). I'm not how important the order of removal is as long as all 3 plugs are removed during the oil change and the correct washers are used, but the manual does state to remove the oil tank drain plug first. Also, if we're going by specs, the oil filter only needs to be tightened to 7 lbf ft (10 Nm), but I'd agree with you that hand-tight is sufficient for most. Cheers!
