I vote for The Chalk Man and Any Man. Your garden looks great.
Adding you picks to the book tally! Chalk Man has had a few votes.
🐶🦮🌞fun video!! Doggies sniffing is like their social media! 😆
although it's probably much healthier for them than social media ;)
Thanks for your lovely rambling blog. So natural and relaxing . Love your wee dogs 🐕
Thank you so much!
CHALK MAN PLEASE !!!! Oh and the Purrrrrple top you had on at start of vlog ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh a few of you have picked Chalk Man. And thanks for the compliment - the purple top is second hand 😉
The little clip clip of Lucy’s paws on the floor , so sweet xx
you can always here them coming!
Chalk Man and The One are my picks from your books 📚
thank you! Oh The One has had a few votes now!
The One and Any Man for me!
Thanks for your book picks! I'm tallying them up just now!
Chalk Man and Whisper Man are two of my best reads of the last couple years. Although I wouldn't read them back to back - too similar. Throw The One in between. It's so good. It's my favorite John Marrs.
Thanks for this! And that’s a good shout as these (plus Any Man) are front runners
My picks the chalk man and the one.☀️
oooh both front runners now!
When I saw the doggos sniffing the ground, I said, “It’s like they’re reading text messages from other dogs.” And then you said that it’s like they’re scrolling through social media. Exactly.😀
great minds! it's probably healthier for them than scrolling right enough 😂
I'm voting The Chalk Man and Any Man.
Oh it's a close one between these and The One
I’ve only read The chalk man out of those and enjoyed it.
Adding that to the votes!
I choose “The One” and “Any Man.” I haven’t yet read either book but I look forward to your reviews.
Oh The One is a front runner now! A few others are a close second, I am just tallying up the votes.
I pick The Chalk Man and Any Man, 🐾🐾
oh it's a close race between these two and The One
I felt exactly the same about Hagstone, I was expecting so much more for some reason. I've just started God of the Woods on audio and think I've already wasted 3 hours of my life. I wanted to love it ☀️
Oh no! I wished you'd enjoyed some of those books but I do feel they seem a little overhyped for me.
🌞
thanks for watching 😀
🌞 don't worry about the em/er fillers, we all do it 😂
Thank you! I am just so aware of it when I am editing myself LOL
Love your vlogs 🌻
Glad you like them! That's so kind of you to say!
whisper man by alex north! i read it in 2022 and still think about it! ❤
tallying up the votes - whisper man has had a few - thanks!
I’m voting any man & the one. Happy reading. ♥️
Yay! Any Man is getting more votes than I thought it might :)
🌞🌞🌞
thanks for watching pal!
🌞 Another goodun! I enjoyed The Chalk Man so that and The Whisper Man get my vote.
I've been on a few protests and demos and I think they are so tiring because of the emotional investment in the issue . The Looking Glass Sound was enjoyable, looking forward to your review on it.
Finally, picked up some reservations from the library and one had a bookmark on page 32 and it made me feel sad and disappointed for some ridiculous reason 😂
Catch up with you next week 🌻
thanks for your book votes, I am tallying them up just now!
well done on the protesting for good causes my friend! The Looking Glass Sound has a mixed review from me - coming this weekend (spoiler!)
What was the book mark of ?
A random shopping list! Nothing of interest on it and the spelling was incorrect in places! 😂
Lucy made me jump too. I had head phones on😂 Adorable dogs☀️🌞
oops! you must have got a fright! cheeky pup!
😸
The whisper man is great highly recommend it
Thanks, I'm tallying up the votes! Whisper Man has had a few!
any man! Mostly cause I want the review of it 😅
I'll take any reason 🤣
Hiya Johanna! Oh my gosh your back yard is looking great! You must have had a lot of rain. I know it’s a lot of work but well worth the effort. Here’s a random question from the US. I’ve noticed that most homes in the UK on RUclips don’t have clothes dryers and you have to hang all of your wet clothes on drying racks or over the radiator. Over here, washer/dryers are sold as a set. But then again, most homes in the US don’t have electric tea kettles. 🌞
A lot of rain has been happening this August here, the plants are happy about it! The garden has/is a lot of work but i love seeing the progress.
You can buy a washing machine with a tumble dryer built in but not as a set. But most people either hang their washing out or in "high drys" at home the old houses in Scotland (and some still do) used to have what were called pulleys a drying rack that you used a rope to pull up and down from the ceilin, they were normally in the warm part of the house e.g a kitchen.
You don't have electric kettles????
Hey Johanna, great video once again. Your yawning is killing me though! 😂 How did you enjoy Edinburgh Book Festival? X
Thanks pal, the yawning is killing me too, I just yawned typing this 😂 The Edinburgh book festival was great, you'll see some of it in this weekends reading vlog and next weekend as I have still to see Matt Haig.
🌞 ☀️ ❤
thanks so much for watching :)
🥵☀️
thanks for watching pal!
2 of our cavapoos eat grass
I wouldn't mind if it was an even grazing... would mean no need for a lawn mower.
We had an electric care and had to return it for a petrol car. Couldn’t find many places to charge it, charging it at home took ages and we couldn’t plan long journeys to visit family. So not great
Thankfully we are really lucky in central Scotland there's a lot of chargers in the cities and towns. Quite a few of our supermarkets have them now / out of town shopping centres to try and encourage people. I think the one we are getting has a range of 300miles which will suit me but the OH might just need to plan journeys a little if going very long distances. Fingers crossed it works out, I'll no doubt keep you posted.
The one and the whisper man please
thanks! will tally up the votes!
Any Man and The One…..
thank you, tallying up the votes for these books
