@@SH-nj5xi in my experience, we have no real options - every time my family has been robbed the cops don’t care and myself & every survivor i know of assault of various kinds don’t tend to feel safe even going to them. Community support is best, but in the US that’s also kind of shattered, so this answer is… somewhat bleak. But there’s also concentrated effort to bolster community support and restorative justice, at least.
I Just Started this video And Let Me Say Mohan Should have won! He was such a kind and loving father to his daughter as well as husband. He never made his daughter feel crazy for her actions and he stood up for her whenever her mother would try to make Devi over work herself. He wanted his daughter to be strong and independent. My God he's a great father.

For me the hottest DAD of all time is john krasinski in a quiet place. in terms of crisis management, reliability level, care and love he gives, the sternness of his reprimanding because he knows he can't protect them all the time, and the fact that he (spoiler) gives up his life for the entire family to live is one of the greatest acts of human love there is.
