Pretty sure a lot of people came up with the idea and obviously had to produce it. Don't believe that this is as organic as it seems.
the whole point was for them to challenge themselves so they could get better at giving gifts, also they've known each other for way longer than anyone else in the crew so it's very likely they came up with their own ideas and the crew helped make the ideas come true

That's so on brand for a dentist when you find out that the instrument used to be made of jawbones. Of course he'd play the drums with a jawbone instrument to accompany them XD
Keith walking onto the late night talk show stage made me cry like he had no idea what was happening but he seemed so natural and at ease.

The fact that Keith walked into a talk show with no idea what was happening and started the most natural sounding monologue off a teleprompter just shows how perfect he is for this. I actually gasped when the saw the Candid Competition marquee. What a fun vibe between them and what fun gifts!
Immediately started crying when I realized what Zach’s final gift to Keith was! I’m sorry Keith but Zach completely won this one! So excited for Keith tonight, and candid competitions movie!
Agree 100%! Zach's final gift is supreme as it is something completely new, not pre-existing clips edited into a movie. Obviously both did a great job, but Zach just was a tad more creative about it 🎉

i love love that the first three gifts are, like, ok, and then the final gifts are so incredibly thoughtful and really show how well keith and zach know and care for each other. what a great way to start the new era
On a technical stand point I genuinely do enjoy how this video is formatted. Them roasting/talking about each other in a dark room was a funny touch say ngl!
If this is done again, it would be so interesting to see Becky and Eugene “gift battle” each other!

The ending got me. Seeing Keith walk out onto the talk show stage and Zach sitting down to watch his Candid Competition movie was very wholesome. Also shoutout to Rachel - watching her interactions with Keith before he walked on stage was so endearing.
I was at Candid Competition the Movie and it was an amazing experience! I got to ask Zach a question as a fellow Emerson student and I’m literally watching this after my graduation. Best gift ever. Thank you so much Zach and the 2nd Try Crew for everything 💖

I know the final gifts are the big, major ones... but I was so impressed with the Novascope! Keith saying it's something he would never have bought for himself, but he knew he'll love playing with it.... that's an ideal gift right there. Zach did a really great job.
