This was a great vlog also. Loving all the handmade gifts you have received. They really captured the crown in the painting. Sorta impressionist sparkles. Good choice on glasses. Maybe take a Clorox wipe and wipe down all the cases and shine up the mirrors in the jewelry cases when you have some free time after Christmas as a little self care for next time you grab this stuff to use. And that’s a load of shoes! Do you have to buy them or does the show you are performing in buy them? And like someone else I love your ballet and nutcracker mugs. I was contemplating doing a nutcracker or pink and mixed theme ballet and nutcracker tree just for fun. I have a mini tree I use in my bedroom so may do it there. I made my friends daughter a ballet tree with a pink four foot tree, used tulle kids tutu for the tree skirt and had some drop crystals and a tiara and some lights and such. I think she added some Barbie stuff bc she was a kid but it was feeding my inner ballet lover. Lol. So I have a wuesrjkn for you and your parents. I saw you made a variety of vegan roasts for the thanksgiving dinner. I decided to do tge cranberry walnut field roast this year and wondered if you tried it and what other ones you guys got and liked. I know being a ballerina and talking food gets people all worked up but I’m just interested in what you and your family enjoy for vegan or vegetarian food. Trying to work my way back to plant based now. Not there yet but hoping to move to it in the coming year with realistic choices. I enjoyed seeing what you had for lunches and dinners bc I am always looking for ideas. I don’t eat out so have to make things myself and have to plan ahead. Merry Christmas Eve!! I've loved your vlogmas so far and enjoyed the BTS of your nutcracker season! As for the polaroid, if it's an InstaxMini, it has 5 different settings based on the lighting/environment you're shooting in. Once you turn it on and the lens pops out, a little orange light will light up on the setting the camera recommends, and you just turn the dial to that setting. Then hopefully the pictures won't be too dark or overexposed. It takes getting used to. I've had mine for a few years and I'm still trying to figure it out sometimes!

Something I've been wondering, which I'm now bringing up because of the footage of you in the optical shop--can you/ballet dancers in general wear glasses when you're dancing, or do you have to wear contacts? And if you can't wear glasses, is it because they'd fall off when you're turning, or just because of the aesthetics?

Lori, great season. I think that crown is the best crown I’ve ever seen on the sugar plum fairy. I think the one I really dislike is the London blonde wig it’s just goofy. Wondering what brand of shoes do u wear and do you have to pay for your own shoes.
Would you ever join a company. If you were part of a company can you talk about your experience. Does it worry you when you haven’t had a lot of performances lined up since this is your full time job (I think). Would you ever teach ballet class?
I dont know if this is a stupid question but is there any difference between regular earrings and performance earrings? Like are they more heavy duty so that they don’t fall out, or are they just standard earrings?
How do you feel physically at the end of Nutcracker season? Are you feeling super fit? I know the blister was painful, do you have any other injuries? Are you exhausted? Do you feel like you need to recover? Or does your body liking being worked so hard? Just curious! You look great!
Can you sell pictures of that photograph of you last year sitting up there that she made the painting from? I would love to have a picture of that on my wall. I have a beautiful oil ballet painting that I got in New Orleans, and it's opaque, you have to look closely to understand its ballet dancers drawn, and I have it placed above my ballet barre that I have in my living room, haha. It makes me happy to see my barre there and you have motivated me to start using it more. I ended up with sesamoiditis after dancing and then pounding the pavement for years in Boston and working on a concrete floor. Anyhow, I have a nice array of dancer photographs all over my apartment. What I like most about you is that your inner beauty matches your outer beauty. You are humble and kind and not a mean girl. Keep that as top priority. Good things will always follow that way.
