I’m using the original Marui recoil spring. Not recommended. Upgraded spring would be best.

Wondering if pairing it with one of the 130% recoil spring kits would get it somewhere back to a normal ROF
The only time I've ever cared about a GBBR's travel length was very recently actually. The VFC FNC, you've got to rock that dust cover, baby!
Can see why marui short stroked it, wouldnt doubt that the Marui's engineers actually have a full stroke recoil set that was a prototype to see if the spring could handle it

If you’re a person that prefers the longer bolt travel, it’s getting closer.
I don’t see any benefit to it at all…however I know people would like to see this happen for the TM AKM. So the upcoming video isn’t going to be for me…but for the audience 😊

It would allow the bolt to return a bit more while not sacrificing the efficiency and ROF so much.

I made a full travel kit for my Cyma EBB AK Type 3 half a year ago. That thing is still lying there, waiting for better quality materials and some kind of production line. You can see it on my channel, so far it's the only video there)
The system uses a unique principle of operation, I hope to implement a better version of it soon

This video was taken a few weeks ago, moments after I received the kit. I immediately ordered a stiffer recoil spring upon shooting it.
The stiffer spring helps restore momentum.

I’ve got this kit in mind paired with the 115% bavtac spring and angry gun piston, it’s great fun. The cool down though is crap 😂 I can get 2 mags off out of one full with the green gas mod.
The BavTac spring steps up the ROF a little with the longer travel kit. The efficiency suffers though, as you have seen

I still have my bowmaster spring and just recently modded the mags to get more gas. Kinda interested with this but I'm scared it'll tear the bolt handle off haha with the stronger spring and longer travel.

You could try the Hephaestus 417 enhanced buffer. They have a spring loaded weight inside which helps reduce the bolt bounce.
Bunny Workshop had them.

One could say it’s more realistic, at the cost of rof and potential damage.
It looks cool but to me it’s not a massive thing as I love my akm the way it and now I’m lifting .43s with mr hop silicone 60 degree hop up rubber and bavtac heavy nub and it’s naughty 😂😂💀

What a shame. The material used on TM's AK are just Aluminum Alloy & Fake plastic wood. Even WE's AK featured a much better material out of the box and it also comes w/ a full-travel bolt.
I’m not a fan of full travelling bolts. I was curious to see how a TM would act with it.
I’ll go back to its short-stroked bolt after I’m done with this kit overview.
Japan unlike other countries has much stricter laws regarding what materials are used for airsoft guns. As for the fake wood, it is to reduce cost, if they used real wood the price would sky rocket and hurt their sales.
