Enamel miniature painting - Miniatura in smalto a fuoco

From paper to fire.
In this video you can discover how an enamel miniature portrait is created.
At the beginning the jewel takes shape on paper, then the metal meets the vitreous enamel and thanks to the use of very small brushes the enamel powder gives life to a fantastic miniature. After numerous firings at 800 °C, the enamel is permanently fixed making each piece unique and special.

Il gioiello nasce sempre da un'idea che prende forma su carta, poi il metallo incontra il vetro e grazie all'uso di piccolissimi pennelli la polvere vitrea da vita ad una fantastica miniatura. Dopo numerose cotture a 800 °C, lo smalto si fissa in modo permanente rendendo ogni gioiello unico e speciale.
