Machine Head circa 2007-2008 was truly something fierce. They had gone from nearly ending the band to the greatest metal album of all time. That kind of hunger can make 4 men rip every person a new asshole in a 100k crowd.
Dude my very first concert ever was machine head opening up for lamb of god in early 2007. I'm so grateful I got to see machine head before Rob Flynn burned the band down (again)
@@momobungle2366 As much as I loved that era of Machine Head (The Blackening is still my favorite album) and I'm incredibly glad that was the first time I saw them live as well, I have to admit the most recent album was incredible. Robb seems to have found a great resurgence with having Jared MacEachern in the band and I'm still consistently giving Of Kingdom and Crown regular listens.
They definitely did, I still remember being sat outside the campsite gates before they opened on the Wednesday and people were already chanting Machine Fucking Head while waiting to get in, and that was like a full 72 hours BEFORE they were due to play 😂
This is hands down the best lineup this band has ever had. Nothing against the current lineup, they still kick ass. But man, these guys were a fucking force. The Blackening is still a record I listen to on repeat 🤟
Mayhem Festival 2008 in Phoenix. When they took the stage starting with "Clenching the Fists of Dissent" that pit just went off with me smack dab in the middle of it. It was awesome.
I saw this song at WEMBLEY fucking STADIUM, just before I saw Metallica. And the weird thing is, Machine Head were not even meant to be there, they came in because another band (cant remember who) couldnt make it, so guess who was completely mental when this song came on.
Machine head is the only band i know where the lows are lows as fuck with there wannabe nu metal schtick around the late 90s-early 00s and catharsis. then the awesome highs with the blackening, locust and most from TTAOE like this great song.
I'm a huge fan of Machine Head, and always said that besides, Lamb of God, Gojira and Meshuggah are the new big four, but I have to said this, and nothing against Matt, Vogg and Jared, but the Machine Head heavy as fuck it's this line up, Flynn, Demmel, Duce and McClain ...... this song its just killer as hell.....
This album was the greatest comeback of all time.
Joe Mullin absolutely. Then they made The Blackening
@@The_JustJoshing I prefer Ashes to Blackening but yea, those two records were almighty.
All of them are good besides the last 2 I didn’t like bloodstones or catharsis
Absolutely. Wish I could've seen this iteration of the band live.
I never knew they left???

Jordan M 😂😂😂
Fuck yeah! 😂

Saw them with Metallica at Wembley stadium this year it was beyond crazy
First festival solo, I got so hammered and sunburnt. Machine Head, Killswitch Engage and Lamb Of God in the same day was epic
We have peaked as a society
the good old machine Head days. Miss this lineup already ! And yes I also miss Adam on the bass guitar
I still remember seeing this for the first time back in 2007. Machine Head totally stole the whole Download Festival that year.
sofa kingtight Lamb of God owned that year equally
Lucky bastard

From 2003 till Adam left Machine Head had one of the most legendary runs ever. Their shows were iconic every time
this one hell of a performance
This iteration of Machine Head was my favorite band for years. It was pretty much over for me when Adam left.
Best MH lineup and at their peak right here, fucking killer!
The camera man proper fancied that red head didn't he?
So did I.

So fucking badass!!!
Wow don't get better then that people. \m/\m/
This is hands down the best lineup this band has ever had. Nothing against the current lineup, they still kick ass. But man, these guys were a fucking force. The Blackening is still a record I listen to on repeat 🤟
Seriously... We NEED this full concert footage in HD, c'mon, somebody gotta have it somewhere!!!!!!!!!
I remember being there. How the fuck was this nearly 12 years ago!!!
Sonisphere 2009 was the first time I saw them! Nailed it! insane live band!
Man, I sure mis this era of MH. I went to many many shows of these guys. Met Dave at a Type O show in downtown SF. Good times...
Não tem jeito, é Brasileiro em tudo quanto é quanto! Vai caraio!!!
Man, that red Demmelition V... fixed bridge and black neck and I'd buy it today.
Goddamn ! Man, it's a festival but it was like a live album or something ! KICK - ASS !
I miss the "no cellphones era"
Machine Head stole that whole weekend
That voice.
Machine Head alta Banda de todos los tiempos💥🔥

Absolutely raw. Saw them twice. Outdoor much louder at Mayhem in Tampa 2008. Sickness.
Mayhem Festival 2008 in Phoenix. When they took the stage starting with "Clenching the Fists of Dissent" that pit just went off with me smack dab in the middle of it. It was awesome.
"CIRCLE PIT SHOW US WHAT YOUR MADE OF!!!"
Bestial
Pasada de peńa sin palabras aúpa Machine head ❤️
Great performance of the song but 4:15 that riff👍
Kill switch engage,Lamb of God and Machine Head in the same day 🤘
he is 40 there. can you believe it?
Boy I saw him two days ago as he is over 50 and you wouldn‘t believe how hard he rocks !
And still full of energy
@@zuhairkayaly1835 I saw them recently too; in their 50s and played a 3 hour set with literally no breaks. Fucking amazing fitness to do that
Jordan M man that soujd is still ringing in my ears, favourite concert I've ever been to (and loudest)
@@jordanm1186 he is 50 but is still sooooo hot :D

Puto desmadre i fucking love it
Bandera 🇵🇪 😁🤘🏼
Fucking dominated download that year!
Machine head is the only band i know where the lows are lows as fuck with there wannabe nu metal schtick around the late 90s-early 00s and catharsis. then the awesome highs with the blackening, locust and most from TTAOE like this great song.
Somewhere in that crowd is my fat ass... came in handy in the pit \m/
1:51 chick has no idea what the lyrics are LOL
Hahaha
I lost my mosh pit cherry to Machine Head at Download 2007
I was there! Great performance, slayer and Metallica were the shit aswell
Metallica didn't play this year. They played 2006
I wish, but that's the only one I have in good quality, sorry :/
Too bad that they dont do festivals anymore
