    Importante este video para fortalecer la línea defensiva de un equipo de fútbol, en lo personal debo decir, que estoy agradecido por lo que me sirvió para trabajar y corregir las marcas en defensa y salidas del equipo. Desde Bogota' Colombia. Gamal Ricard.

    superb, though i feel there is a tad space that could be exploited between fullback and cb when ball goes to either channel, the distance of the covering player is quite much, give Hazard or an Antony Martial such a one on one, he will skin u. the rest though is on point. i love it

      In this drills there are no midfielders 👍

      the whole thing you saw was the movement of defenders which i think is more important than attacking flexibility when the players get on the pitch especially defender players get help from their teammate so they dont have to make a space between each other

    Theres one thing I dont get: How can you play with your 4 defending players that close to each other ? Assuming the players on the outside are the right and left backs, it would be a heaven against teams like Ajax, who play with wing forwards.

      its overloading one specific side of the pitch , the one where the ball is being payed , they can comfortably run back should the opposition choose to switch the ball to the other side

      it allows your rm or lm to fill in the gaps to make it hard for the opposition to break through

    can someone explain to me, why they train the back four with such short distances between the players? of course you can not and should not defend the whole width of the pitch. but in some scenes alle of the four defenders standing in an area of 5 meters maximum. is there a reason for that?

    • @salah1111111
      @salah1111111  5 лет назад +3

      the reason is that the team wants to protect the depth, (the most dangerous area) first and foremost. and distances are not 5m, maybe between two players, & it is difficult to measure from a video

    • @pakhang0
      @pakhang0 5 лет назад +10

      In real games i m sure they will not stand so close to each other. This training is all about maintaining the shape n movements so that they understand each other. Like Ferdinand says if a team is well drilled any player can tell where the team mates are with their eyes closed in any possible scenarios.

      So the opponents can't play short passes. Crossfield long balls take some time to travel, hopefully enough for the defenders to readjust. The only way around this tactic is to have a Pirlo regista and three Mbappes.

      Depends on the manger but generally more compact teams are harder to pass through

      Da vid by running close together, you negate the central part of the pitch. Therefore, they can’t play through you and they’re forced to go wide. Which takes the ball away from the goal. Also, the long balls are sometimes risky because they hang in the air, so it can be intercepted at times or players will clash together and compete in a 50/50 header battle, which most of the time the defender should win.
