I wish they'd make a 24 fret, neck through version with a reverse headstock. It used to be called a M-II Custom back in the day.

Dude you are a beast! Hope i can play like that one day. Almost bought this today at Guitar Center but picked up a Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 2 24 HT HH instead - seemed like less maintenance for someone not familiar with the Rose Floyd system but man, what a beautiful, beautiful golden axe. Plays like a dream.

They have a pink 87 at my local music go round for about 850$. I think imma buy it. I sold my previous floyd rose superstrat and i miss it.

It showed up damaged. I sent it back and ordered the M1 Custom instead. I like it better actually with the neck thru design a​nd the pickup is super hot. @@metaldreams3595

A pickup ring on the bridge humbucker in this style guitar don't do anything for me. Should have been direct mount if nothing else but just for looks.

No no bruv, these are specific to the guitars that were in the 1987 ESP catalog.
I just went to ESP site to look at specs on another guitar and saw Mirage Deluxe 87 and well, that caught my eye cos in 1987 I had a Mirage Deluxe! lol
But yeah, these are replicas

Why do companies still use those single screw tuners? The ones that can start to fail and break? They haven’t learned that they need to connect in two places on the back yet? Every guitar I get that has the single score I replace with double. I don’t want to have to replace them at all and I think it helps keep it in tune better. Once those start to fail the twisting force can cause the strings to loosen easier.

Most tuners are secured with a screw and at least one pin. I've never had a tuner break lol
