Combat in the game is soooo fun When you play the you're in the zone. Focused on defeating the boss. You don't really appreciate how cool it all looks. Watching some else do it, you can really see the care the that went into the animation, sound design and impact of your attacks. It's incredible. And ohh, the soundtracks, how can I forget about them. Just love 'em. They are so well crafted.
What was odd about this fight was his quotes and words. As I continued trying to beat him and getting frustrated with him, just hearing that, "With experience comes perspective" actually made me pause and think about his stupid fight. Even his take it slow talk genuinely helped me slowly fight it out. He accidentally helped me figure out how to win. Weird.
So does the edge. He keeps telling you to get better and focus on him basically telling you to pay attention to the flashes he gives off and the hints cuz he sometimes fakes his attacks which shouldn't bother you if you looked at him. The guy tells you how to beat him lmao (Doesnt change the fact that he kicked my ass so many times i had to take a tiny break)
@@unseengh0st451 I personally felt like Furier was easier if anything? Faster attacks in the melee phase actually made it easier for me to time parries, and his first phase becomes so much easier with the new waves. It's only the second phase with the tower that made me struggle more than normal...
Please tell me I'm not the only person who gets a very Afro Samurai vibe from this game (the look of the main character, the whole "merciless revenge at all costs" theme, the mascot-headed character, the old man with the headphones, etc.)
I dont get why people complain about bosses in this game. I love bosses, and this game has JUST what i'm looking for, every boss is fun, and everyone is different from each other, best game ever, every time i die i get more excited
I think people are just complaining about this boss. every bullet bounces back, you have to destroy barriers and pillars with a ton of health, and the attacks for this boss are really just about going back and forth, while other bosses don't do that as much. his barriers and pillars also shoot out bullets when hurt, making it hard to attack it. really, if people hate all bosses, they will hate this game, since this game is only bosses
@@boyzaya15 What fun can any game give without a challenge? Easy stuff is boring, no one would play dark souls if you never died. Plus the music is so fucking good. If you just are not good enough then maybe you should play easy games like dragon city on facebook lol
This fight is honestly my absolute favourite in the game, barely beating out the Edge, and beating the Burst by a fair margin. Up until this point I had beaten the last two bosses by firing blindly and mashing the melee button like a fucking madman, and it had been working. I lost a shit ton of health and needed to restart a couple of times, but it was working. Then I hit The Line, and this man fucking destroyed me. I lost to him again, and again, and again. I forget how far I was getting but it was absolutely brutal. And after each hit, each death, I just got angrier and angrier about this stupid fucking boss I couldn’t beat… until I stopped raging and started listening. I was going too fast, I was acting on instinct and anger like some sort of animal, not thinking about my actions. So I started slowing down, started charging my shots and planning my attacks. I started looking for the patterns instead of blindly rushing in, and finally, after all that time and effort… I beat him. I ended up restarting the game because I hung around in a certain area for too long wanting to see what happened and not realising it would restart the game. But that second go around? I absolutely stomped the early bosses, The Line included. I had taken what he’d taught me and used it to better myself, and that felt like an accomplishment and a lesson that reached beyond a mere game. Sorry for preaching like an asshole but I needed to get this out.
I like this boss. After the second boss, whom I hated with all my heart, this boss felt fair. And I didn't even get mad when I died from it like 50 times.
Wait really? What did you guys struggle about with the second boss? I think she only downed me once, and I’m not even sure of that, I thought she was the easiest in the game besides the chain.
Ngl.Him and Sakuya from Touhou get along well..Think about it Both shares the power of time Both are one of the toughest in their games especially on Furier/Lunatic difficulty and Both shares one hell of a theme and phrases.
I just got the game, medium difficulty, first boss meeh not hard, second boss, gets harder but nothing special, third boss... Holy shit I can't get past the third phase, they're so long and there are so many things
This guy kicked my ass first time around. The first phase was just boring as fuck to do again. But it felt really good dodging like a pro once you learn the gimmick of this guy's fight.
Can I ask how the heck you are supposed to beat his past phase on furier difficulty? I have attempted it over 30+ times and I just can’t beat it. No matter what I do. I never make it to the last melee fight.
I beat this boss after four tries! Without the help! -not using charge shots -not using blaster shots for phase 2 when he slows down time -not dodging most rings around rider when they close in
This is easily the worst boss in this game, every retry is so fucking tedious because the phases take so fucking long to finish. Conclusion: he tested my patience not my skill and testing patience isn't fun game play.
So thats what 1000 hrs of lo-fi beats does to you...

While he was frustrating to get through on Hard mode, he was teaching lessons and giving hints until the end.
