THANK YOU ALL FOR WATCHING AND HOPE YOU ENJOYED
Me before this list:I wanna try hero
Me after this list:I don’t wanna try hero
Lol :) glad we helped 😂
Hero is the best ride ever I have been on it so much and I love it!
Hero is ace go ride it
You got some real guts
It’s not that bad
I feel like Blackpool is always ripped on for having it janky and bumpy rides but I still adore them, especially infusion. When I went on it i thought it was gonna be a horrible ride but it’s not, it’s quite good to me.
Blackpool's line up is pretty good however some attractions do need to be replaced. Don't get me wrong some wooden coasters are great and I have had many moments like you had. Nether a less in the future they need to update with more modern attractions like icon.
this!!! i love blackpool :)
i agree
I'm convinced people play up how rough and bumpy rides are. The only ride that's ever made me need to sit down for a good while is Icon ironically. Grand national is the bumpiest I've been on though. I think I was dehydrated so Icon made me dizzy as hell. The Smiler I could have done again if it weren't the end of the day and found that to be really smooth... maybe I'm too short for this supposed "head banging" I hear people talk about.
I went on Rita! It’s amazing! So fun! :) I defiantly recommend! I also went on hero! It’s not the worst..it’s the whole apart of the ride..it’s supposed to have loops and turns!
Ngl rita has got some good monents and if you are new to towers I deafiently recommend giving it a ride. Also I have only done one ride on hero so maybe the second time is different. I appricate your opinion though and glad you commented it :)
Same, my favourite roller coaster now
Rita is the worst ride I ever went on
@@bendyb4864 how? It’s not rough, it’s very intense, and has an amazing launch
@@bennickss Have you done stealth before?
Nice video! As much as I love the Ultimate I have to agree, that thing rips you apart big time.
I’m so glad someone understands about Steeplechase. No restraints to speak of and yet the jolt when you turn a corner feels like it could quite easily throw you off. Terrifying.
The audio is terrible on this. Can hardly hear what your saying, speaking too fast and too quiet.
So sorry that you feel that way :(
I disagree
Hello There, great video, it was food to hear your perspective on it. Thank you for doing this, I think the seating positions and crucially the time of day as well as the operations can certainly change your perspecitve and experience on these attractions. Cheers Peter :)
Hello, thank you very much and I’m glad you enjoyed the video 👍. I do agree with you as well because the seat that you sit in can make or break a ride as well as the time of day making a difference when it comes to speed.
@@ThemeParkCoastin Hello There, you're welcome, I am glad you are doing well. Take care and stay safe. Cheers Peter :)
You too 👍
Don't hate on big dipper it's 98 years old what do you expect ofcourse it's gonna hurt and you don't know what it was like 98 years ago it's might of been smooth and fun but since of its age it will be devastating seeing it go
It is pretty good for its age but unfortunately I am judging this ride for the experience in 2020 and that is why it is on the list. Nether a less I 100% don’t think it should go
That's exactly why someone would hate it 😂 Blackpool is full of trash coasters, saying oh it's old it's going to hurt doesn't excuse the fact it's garbage
Well maybe they should change it then…
Just because it’s 98 years old dosent remove the uncomfortable factor of it. And you gotta respect his opinion not everyone is going to like the ride
It's not like they can just make it disappear unless some terrible person who they definitely have nothing to do with sets it on fire and it burns to the ground. At the end of the day though, Blackpool is an amusement park museum.
i was considering going on infusion because I loved kamali at flamingo land and I'm fairly small so the restraints weren't bad at all. But hero, my knees were soo sore on the lift.
Infusion is quite similar to Kumali however I think it’s a bit worth so you didn’t miss out on a lot and I totally agree with you about hero, my knees were hurting so bad 😂
Kumali was a lot more rough than infusion it’s safe to say that I’m not a big fan of SLC’s With hero I came off the ride with aches and pains everywhere and Big Dipper I came off with a bruise on my knee
Colossus is my 2nd favourite ride at Thorpe Park and I don't find it that painful personally.
Colossus is brilliant. Saw is way more painful
On Theme Park Worldwide recently The Ultimate was their top ten favourites
😂 that’s funny, well ultimate is a good ride it just has some really rough parts so I think it depends on who you are and what you can take 😂
But it's so rough
@@ThemeParkCoastin you spelt COLOSSUS wrong🤦♂️
Sorry about that
@@ThemeParkCoastin dw
Tornado at M&D's is now closed for good! Even though I haven't ridden it, my god those restraints look AWFUL AND PAINFUL.
I love Rita went on it 4 times and honestly it's so underrated 😭 ig it's not comoarable to other rides sure but if you are starting to get into launching coaster or want to go onbcoaster that is not as rough bc you're scared i really recommend starting with Rita!
I went on infusion when it was at Southport as the trauma tizer because it was a quiet day we went on it four times. I found King Solomon's mines at Southport much worse.
King Solomon's Mines was an absolute rickety bone-breaker when I was a kid. Wildcat was also not much better and people getting stuck on the ride for hours and having to be rescued by the Fire Service happened multiple times just from the days I visited! These things weren't as reported then even in local news as they are now. Also Tiamat forbid Camelot had some extremely janky rides, ironically especially the childrens' atttractions. Pendragon's Plunge was an incredibly poorly-maintained dinghy slide set which was extremely easy to hit your head on, I know I did, as well as the unpleasant if safer experience of getting covered in stagnant swampy water.
I'm really not nostalgic for the early-mid 2000s UK amusement parks at all! It's a consistent miracle more people weren't hurt with the incredibly lax attitudes to maintenance, safety and ride operation quality.
I used to love the grand international until I nearly feel off! My lap bar had lifted up and I had to physically pull myself in, I came off the ride crying which is very rare for me to do! They shut the ride for a while but shortly reopened for some reason, lap bar was very loose and rattling! X
i love literally all of the ones i’ve been on that u said, except number 2
Great video, Rita should be off this list 😂 but not hero
No no no Rita should be on there 🤣🤣
Thank you. Everyone has an opinion but Nah Rita is soooo boring 😂 agree with hero though 😂
Agreed 😂
The Nash and Rita actually make my top 10 (though i’ve only got 24 creds) because they’re just plain fun
As someone who has recently been on hero, I can agree that it one of the worst experiences I had. I’m fairly thin and I sat on the left most section and I came on with bruises on my hips 😂
I have been on hero. Its the worst-
As someone who's home park is brighton pier, i can say that turbo is one of the worst rides ive ever riden. My first time riding it on the second bank turn i was slammed into the back of my seat, causing my back to be sore for the rest of the week.
I had a feeling Colossus would be on the list. From my own experience the seats are so uncomfortable and the restraint requires some effort to get the seatbelt on.
I went on Colossus At Thorp
It was a cool ride actually quite smooth considering but it was new at the time lol
Yesterday I went on turbo and I screamed my head off
Yeah, same here. I hope you had an amazing visit to brighton peir though 🙂
@@ThemeParkCoastin ty
I was at thorpe park yesterday and walking past colossus they had people on it. Later they were then having to tighten the bolts on the track
Big Dipper is 100 years old this year it’s bound too be rough I’m glad it’s still running after a century I personally wouldn’t have it on the list
I actually don’t mind hero. I think the fact that it’s the worst coaster around makes it a must ride 😂😂
I’m fine with Collosus because I can’t pull my head forward so it won’t bang against the restraunts
Hated Rita, My jaw was so painful after I've came off it back in 2010 :(
Rita can sometimes be good and bad but that does sound painful and I have had experiences just like that
I went on grand national! It was amazing but scary! Me and my friend had no reaction the whole way I didn’t know if I was scared or happy XD
i love rita it just hurts your head lmao
Sometimes Rita can be a good ride but it defiantly can hurt your head the majority of the time 😂
The wild mouse that used to be at flamingo land was just like rattlesnake, every corner felt like you'd come right off
My first roller coaster was Rita, second was Hero and third was Mumbo Jumbo. Guess my first three were a third good at least😂😂
😂 god, I wouldn’t be surprised if you got put off coasters for life 😂 😂 . Mumbo jumbo is a great ride though.
@@ThemeParkCoastin hahaha nope, luckily I haven't seen the best of coasters yet so that's why I want put off 🙂
Ok, that’s great 😃 honestly some coasters are fantastic do I would defiantly recommend checking it out
“Rita at Alton Towers accelerates to 2 and a half miles an hour in 100 seconds” Digitaldan
Oh ok thanks for letting me know I really appreciate that :)
ive been on the rattle snake ride when my school was going on a trip to chessington
when i rode hero the headrest stunk and the handlebars were so greasy i couldnt hold on
😂😂 the heron last year I was getting, it was so uncomfortable so I walked off sod that 😂😂
I agree. I've been on Infusion, Rita, and Rattlesnake. How rough and terrible.
With other youtubers saw the ride would be in this list it it isn’t on this one which I’m very happy abt. Thanks
I am very glad you agree. I think saw the ride is one of the best attractions in the uk :)
@@ThemeParkCoastin Yh same
I was holding on for my life and my feet kept coming off the ladder
I wenton the grand national last summer but I went on hero today it was amazing
He said colossus at Thorpe park That’s my second fav ride there lol although your head rocks about and you can catch your ear on the side I loved it because the loops were amazing and rattle snake I don’t think is that bad sure you get whipped around corners but it a one in a life time opitunity
I’m sorry about that lol 😂, I understand what you mean about Colossus layout as apart from the roughness the rest of it is really good. It is the same really with rattle snake but I personally believe due to It being rough it is not as good 🤔
It's funny how people dunk on Rita and yet its sister, Desert Race at Heide Park gets showered with praise.
I’ve got to admit that is weird. Maybe it’s because Alton towers has so many other good rides at the park that it just doesn’t fit in 😀
excuse me? why is hero on this list? its my favourite ride there. i mean that explains why everyone else there hated it
I have only ever ridden hero twice however after making this video I think I should ride it once more because lots of people seem to like it
Now I know which are the bad rides but I have ridden on hero’s and it was AMAZING. Very intense and fun.
This torture machine 😂 amazing
😂 it really is one though lol 😂
I absolutely love 3 rides that r on your list the ultimate it was fantastic it was smooth I like steeple chase and grand national
Another one is in oakwood it's called creepy crawler it bashed my head back and forth 😅 and I nearly got hit in the head by a track
Hero at flamingoland was actually a really fun ride to go on.
Personally I think Vampire should be on the list. The restraints on that ride are so uncomfortable, I don't know what Vekoma was thinking. They should've kept the old Arrow trains considerably they had actual vampires on them. I can't remember if I got any headbanging but I know the restraints were bulky & hard.
Colossus was so painful that the last time I went on, I got insane cramp in my legs. The headbanging was minimal, but the legroom is so bad.
Rita should get new softer shoulder restraints like the ones on Maverick & Storm Runner, & not lap bars for safety reasons considering the turn after the launch is quite sharp.
Also, Grand National is my worst coaster, in fact, by the time I got off, I was convinced I had bruised by butt. That was back in 2019
Turbo that rough I sorta wished there were rollercoaster guards instead of life guards
i went on rita at alton towers for my second coaster and had the biggest headache ever for 4 days
Infusion used to be called Traumatiser when it was in Southport. Good name for it.
I went on the hero at flamingo land and it was amazing
i have been on the tallest and fastest rolercoaters on earth, and i can tell you that the grand national is one of the best rides on the planet, its rough its well designed its pure ride magic
You are so lucky to ride all of those attractions and I really think it depends on where you sit as the middle of each carriage is a lot better 👍
That would be Kingda ka
idk i have a feeling this could possibly not be true..
All rides at Blackpool are crap.
@@andrewbarrett42 icon and the big one is good
Number 7 is so true it says 9 and over , I’m 10 and went on it .the strap in thing is not tight enough and heads hurt so bad!
Colossus? Grand National? Big Dipper? Infusion?
Blackpool gets alot of flack because some of the rides are old and bumpy, but that is the charm of the park, if you want thrill by the seat of your pants rides then that is Alton Towers and Thorpe Park.
i went on the hero and it is amazing but scary i recommend this ride if you like lots of turns and i think its really fun in my opinion
I agree with most of your picks, I would have to add odyssey at fantasy island though, I only rode it one time but the headbanging completely distracted the thrills, while I was cueing people were comes off holding there kneck, someone come off crying in pain. Was ashame I heard so much good things about it so maybe it was just a bad day for it, but was absolutely terrible and gave me a migraine that lasted the rest of the day
It depends where you sit
I actually enjoyed the Grand National at Blackpool and Rita at Alton Towers myself
It's true number one because my mam and auntie and consin went on it and when they came of they all said " I FELT I WANNA GONNA FALL OUT"
I work at blackpool pleasure beach, and I can definitely say grand National was fun… it’s old but good
I think my list would be:
Hero @ Flamingo Land (Never been on it, never want to)
Grand National @ Blackpool (I sat in the back, thought I was going to die)
Colossus @ Thorpe Park (I don't find it that rough, but I find the trains too small and I get cramp in my legs EVERY time I ride)
Saw @ Thorpe Park (Used to be great. Now unbelievably rough. I feel like my head is being rattled through the whole thing)
Dinosaur Valley @ Wicksteed Park (Just crap. Awful restraints. Tiny cars. Pain pain pain)
Big Dipper @ Blackpool (It's rough like you said)
Infusion @ Blackpool (It's crap, but I don't totally hate it as much as some people)
Rattlesnake @ Chessington (I generally hate these wild mouse type rides and this was no exception)
Air @ Alton Towers (The posterboy for why a business model of getting the first-of-its-kind coasters doesn't pan out well in the long run. It's the first flying coaster, and the worst flying coaster... just doesn't do anything. Bonus points for additional crapness when VR is attached)
Thirteen @ Alton Towers (I mean it's ok, but built as a secret weapon when in reality it's just a family coaster which is kinda boring once you've experienced the drop track once)
The last two are harsh but I don't think they live up to expectations as a pillar of Alton Towers' coaster lineup. Thankfully they went away from the whole 'worlds first' policy when they build Wicker Man and just went for a quality woodie. Hopefully they continue down that line in the future :)
I’m in Blackpool rn how ironic lol but personally I love the Big Dipper me and my dad always go on it if we go to pleaser beach we wrote our initials in the back cart
I went on hero and I loved it but I can relate to feeling like I was falling out my cart but otherwise it was great
In my opinion rita and colossus are good rides if you are trying to get rid of your fear of roller coasters cause they are smooth if you sit near the front or back so it could be a nice ride
Mannn I love turbo it’s sketchy in a fun way like rattlesnake
I totally understand your opinion but for me the roughness just takes over
We gotta give my boy collosus some love!
Lots of people do love collosus is what I can tell from the comment section lol 😂
My top uk coasters are 10. Nemesis inferno 9. Galactica 8. Revolution 7. Rita 6. Saw the ride 5. Stealth 4. The smiler 3. Nemesis 2. Icon 1 swarm
Tbh hero is pretty rough and hasn't got that many good elements, but I still enjoy it and it is one of my little sisters favourite rides. Its way better on the inside seat so definitely sit there
I have only been on hero once and tbh from all of these comments I can see that people really like this ride. I never rode it on the inside but when I return to the park I will make sure to ride it their. Thanks 😄
@@ThemeParkCoastinyeah a few weeks back me and my dad rode it and he was on the outside and hated it and said it was really rough but I was on the inside and didn't find it that bad I think it also helps if your smaller so you have more room
I thought u were right until rattlesnake apperead!
Sorry, I don’t know why but I just think rattlesnake is really rough 😭
Idk why I said that but my dad said it was quite rough when he came of it
@@ThemeParkCoastin I find Rattlesnake to be fun IMO and my 3rd favourite ride in Chessington
Don’t get me wrong rattlesnake is good I just personally think it’s soo rough
I liked steeplechase & grand national...big dipper favourite but i agree or not sitting on car with wheel underneath.
Don’t disrespect Rita like that it’s so good
But the Big Dipper is very bad and it hurts ur back and neck
I have learned from making this video that everyone likes Rita 😂 but Big Dipper is defo painful especially on a wheel seat
@@ThemeParkCoastin lol I remember I went on with this girl and she hurt her back while doing the ride it’s very bad but Rita is ok I guess it’s a little sharp on the turns nothing too scary but it’s a starter coaster u Know?
😂 ouch 🤕 they really need to close the Big Dipper. My brother just got front row on Rita and loved it so I honestly think it depends on where you sit
@@ThemeParkCoastin I sat in the middle for rita
I think that’s quite a good row, I did it in the rain once and that kills
I went on hero it was reallyfun but I couldn't reach the handle bars so on the corkscrews j was terrified
Good vid. Colossus is the worst coaster I've done. With the other Coasters at Thorpe, Chessington and Legoland I tend to have mixed thoughts on them.
Thank you, colossus definitely is a bad coaster. I do agree with you as well when it comes to chessington and legoland as most of the rides there it depends what mood your in 👍😂
Colossus is one of the best rides in the uk if you can secure front row
@@bobbynewman9321 i love Colossus front row I'm still yet to try it in the dark.
I went on hero and loved it, i even went on again because i liked if so much
Many people have different views on this ride. Tbh I only rode it once so If I ride it again I may like it more
I love Rita and I can tell you now that Grand National is 100x more pain. I reccomend Rita the infornmation in this video only focuses on the layout not the amazing thrills.
Tbh hero isn’t that bad it’s just if you sit on the right or left side it feels as your going to fall out but yh still a shite ride lol
Lots of people do have different opinions on hero as I can tell from making this vid. Personally I can see what you are saying but I just think the overall experience is pretty bad
Just because the grand national isn’t a RMC it doesn’t mean it’s not bad ….
Gotta say infusion is hit or miss, went on it twice in one visit to the pleasure beach, first time was smooth and real fun, second i got thrashed around something awful. Maybe it depends where you sit?
I agree. Colossus is very rough.
Yea it is such a rough ride and In my opinion it kinda ruins it
@@ThemeParkCoastin The ride needs an overhaul.
Yea I do agree. They could make something amazing in that spacr
@@ThemeParkCoastin Like the coaster we were promised and never got. Thanks a lot, Derren Brown!
Lol yea
I’ve been on all of these except turbo the ultimate and hero. I might give turbo and the ultimate a go but I’m not doing hero also I love how he makes the video dramatic
I hate hero, I went on it the first time and almost cried the whole way through and it felt like my legs were slipping and I was hanging on for my life
I really don’t like hero either. It doesn’t sound like you had a very fun experience though as it does feel unsafe
i went on hero last friday
1 word to describe it
PAINFUL
I like infusion, the only part I dont like is that It is a bit of a head banger
I think it really depends on your pain threshold as for me it really hurts but others not so much
Turbo = pain.
I went to Brighton Pier 2 days ago 😂
Very very true 😂
I hope you had an amazing visit as well apart from that ride
@@ThemeParkCoastin it wasn't open when I went thankfully but I'd been there before
@@ThemeParkCoastin I did a video for it check it out if you want
I went on turbo at Brighton pier it was alright but I bashed my head so much lmao
Yea, it really matters about your pain threshold on that ride as lots of people hate it but there are also quite a few including myself who doesn’t mind it.
@@ThemeParkCoastin yeah I think it’s bcos I’m not tall so I wasn’t taller then the restraints and I kept bashing my head on them
Colossus better be on this
In my opinion I loved hero I’m not really the best with rollercoasters and this was the first thrill rollercoaster I had been on since I was 5 and honestly I’m not the best with the belly buzz you get on coasters but hero was more scary and you feel like your gonna die which I really enjoyed, when you flip upside down the feeling of your feet slipping slowly gives me the adrenaline I like. From the people I went with to flamingo land they said it was one of the scariest there due to you feeling like your gonna fly out, you never really are in the middle with this ride on loving it and hating it it’s either one or the other and it really depends on the person.
1:21 Voice crack 😂
Lol 😂
@@ThemeParkCoastin It happens to the best of us 😆
I’m at flamingo right now
I hope you had an absolutely amazing visit
For anyone saying the hero is okay GIRL ARE U OKAY
Good video but infusion is a vekoma SLC not S&S
Thank you very much 😂. I realised that just after filming the vid but thanks for telling me 👍
I have been on hero and I felt myself slipping and there isn’t much safety
rides that shouldnt not be on this list: rita, infusion, rita, big dipper and RITA! If you think rita is boring, going 0-60 in secs, clearly no ride in the world will please you
i love the hero ride at flamingo land >:(
HOW DARE YOU PUT GRAND NATIONAL ON HERE ITS MY FAVOURITE COASTER ITS NOT ROUGH ITS A BIT ROUGH BUT I ENJOY IT
I know sorry 😂 😭 😢 lots of people have told me like yourself that they love that coaster but personally it’s just to rough
@@ThemeParkCoastin I forgot to turn capital letters off sorry im not being angry I know it can be a bit rough sometimes I think they shuld put oil on the grand nationals's track every now and then
😂 lol don’t worry about that and Ik what you mean and I agree they should put some oil on the track now and then 🎢
I completely disagree with collosus, to be honest the first time i went it was a bit uncomfortable but it was never too painful and its a very fun ride (it did break down the day after though) and the second time very recently It was actually very smooth and i ddint experience any discomfort, I would definitely go on it, it was one of my favourite rides there tbh
i hate saw it made me have such a big headache, rita isn’t too bad tbh
Steeplechase doesn't deserve to be on this list. Last one in the world. Classic ride.
Steeplechase is such a good ride, but I know many people find it rough so I had to put it on the list :)
dont disrespect my hero i went on it 9 times in a row on a rainy day with no cue and i was fine
