Respect...a man who's prepared to stand up in front of his peers and betters and show you all he's got!

He said to the keyboard player 'Do you still work with Arkwright in the shop' which is a reference to the Ronnie Barker show 'Open All Hours' in which David Jason's charactor Granville worked in the shop and dressed in a similar manner to the keyboard player.

You may have your thoughts on Frank Skinner to which you are entitled.
However, he was a really nice guy in the flesh and spent time when he was not working on the programme, as did his crew watching the performances and talking to people.
Also he is a genuine George Formby fan which is why he wanted to make the programme rather than a programme looking for a presenter.

The BBC recorded the song and it was transmitted - this is my recording of it so is not BBC material.

I did for a fraction of a second see myself - but it was only because I knew where I was sat and what I was wearing. Certainly not as clear as some of the others. I was also in the lesson session but as I was to the right of the room near the rear the main camera was looking over my shoulder.
