A lot of guys are complaining about the problem.
You might get this problem if you have 2 processors , for example your computer has intel processor and a nvidia or amd processor .

Faster way:
1. Right-click OBS icon
2. Hover your cursor over the "Run with graphics processor"
3. Then click "Integrated graphics"

Was just on my way to uninstall OBS when I decided to search RUclips - and you saved the day - Alone! Just had to use set OBS in NVIDIA to use Integrated Graphics card - why it can't use my NVIDIA card? I have no idea... but it works.

hey so for me its not giving me the option to change my preffered graphics processor setting
found out the solution, hit add on the side and select obs from the list and it should work

Did not work for me. There isn't a option to change to integrated graphics
You have to download the correct graphics drivers for your processer from the intel website

everytime I try to apply, it says "Access denied failed to apply selected settings to your system", I tried restarting but it said same thing, please help.
I have the same problem as you, just open explorer, then right click on this device, device administrator, disable nvidia grafic card

@@volden4902 the idea is to Open device administrator, you can just press Windows + Q to open search bar and type device administrator, then disable Nvidia graphics while you use OBS

When I go into my graphics control panel to select a program to customize obs does not show up

it might come up as 'open broadcaster system (obs64.exe)' hope this helps?

Guys, go hit the button that says "add" right next to it, and then you can see OBS, and just add it from there

the section to change to integrated graphics isn't there for me and ive updated all my drivers, any suggestions?
Right click on the obs program and then run with graphics (something) I don't remember what is there because my computer is in Greek

You have to restore it first in Global settings, hope this helped as it worked for me.

If your on windows then right click the desktop it should pop up if you don’t have a graphics card your pc wouldn’t work
