Pretty cool I came across this video on the same day that y'all are doing a hydro and VIP on my tank there in Jax! I think Ryan may be the one who helped me. Super helpful guy 👍
Hi Dustin, Yes we do Hydros on Wednesdays and like to have tanks in on Mondays or earlier.. You can ask for your results but please give them time to get them as we do between 25-70 tanks that day. Ryan is a way cool guy and knows his Sh_t about scuba.. Regards Bob C
@@DiversSupplyYT, thanks Bob! I'll ask them tomorrow if I end up picking it up then. I know y'all are busy, so I won't be trying to take up too much time (I saw the 2 weeks worth of regs in there when I dropped mine off). Everyone has been super helpful with my questions since I'm trying to get back into diving,
I think when we get a hydro we should get results or images of the tank, more like a report not just pass fail, then people might care more about it and understand how there tank is holding up.
Good comment John, in reality there is a report, test results, that is maintained for the DOT. If you'd like the results of your tank's Hydro and VIP all you have to do is ask. The results may not make much sense to you unless you're trained to understand them, but you're welcome to request them. Thanks for the comment !
I’m in agreement with John! A written / printed report should be made available to the tank owner. For myself, l’d be willing to pay an additional fee for a copy of photos related to that inspection. Rusty

Thanks for the lesson! New diver here, so I appreciate the explanation 😊
You are so welcome littlelaura ! Thanks for watching and Dive Safe out there. Regards Bob C

Hi Bob, great video!
Thanks for the insight to vip & hydro testing.
Thanks David, Most divers really have not had the opportunity to see the "Why and How" of these inspections... Thanks for your comment ! Bob C
Thanks for the education! Rusty
Any time!

@@DiversSupplyYT, good info. I think my tank will be ready for pick up tomorrow. I'll ask for the results and see if I can interpret anything.

do you have an idea of the torque i can apply on the valve ?
Just you be a bit more specific about what part of the valve you asking about ?

Sir, the best advice is to check on the manufacturer's website or to contact them :)
Ho much does it cost to inspect a tank
Frank, You asking about VIP inspection or Hydro check & VIP ??
Because nobody will fill it.
