Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 marks the most challenging entry to the acclaimed series yet, introducing extreme long-range sniping with targets over 1000m away. I have been playing this for a year or so now. Great fun, especially when you try to play all the missions without raising the alarm.
It’s a lot of fun. I’ve been wanting to go back to play more too. I love the variety of ways you can play each mission.
I found this game a few days ago and its the game i always wanted. A stealth sniper game, where you do contracts

This just came to ps plus, thinking about trying it out this weekend. I enjoyed the sniper elite games but never got around to playing ghost warrior games. Looks fun tho

I've been going through sort of a game fatigue lately, trying out a bunch of games and none of them really sticking. Decided to try this one and it managed to reel me in. Been playing it for weeks now.
Really good game. Very good sniping and run and gun shooting. Really great level design. Feels like a metal gear fps game for some reason.
PS has it in their Sept games so I downloaded it. The process to align distance shots took me a few attempts. One question: Most of the sites I've read say that pressing the triangle on the PS 5 controller changes the bullet type in the sniper rifle. On my PS 5, however, pressing the triangle changes (cycles) weapons. To change bullet types, I had to open the selection wheel (press down D-pad) then cycle the different bullet types listed in the center of the screen. Did the updated change the function of the triangle button?
You have to be aiming down the sights and press triangle. If you're not aiming it just switches weapons

my main problem with these games is the one thing a lot of people love... the critical shot camera motion.
I'd honestly just prefer watching their head explode while looking at them through my scope just WAITING for my bullet to impact than having my entire game paused just to watch a bullet fly through the sky... it's not like it's difficult to get these shots either, the game basically tells you where to shoot.
Agree, I also hate those moment with slow-mo, it's just stupid and I guess that the target audience are some teens , it takes controls from me and ruins the flow. Also it takes away realism. Luckily you can turn it off in the options. But sniping in this game also too easy with all the helpers on Dead-Eye difficulty even, particularly the wind correction. If you like the most realistic and detailed sniping in the most natural way I would recommend to try some sniping missions in ARMA 3.

You can disable it in settings
Instead of crying why not disable it in the settings there is a option for it

Played the game on PS5 on the hardest difficulty. Took me at least 40 hours. The gameplay and mechanics are very good. The AI is mostly garbage and buggy. And the game dialogue makes me want to barf. So aside from everything else . It’s horrible but I Highly recommend

Hay buddy just got tge x box series s and sniper warrior 2 and me and my partner cant get anywhere in the game or what we should be doing pal could you help we've been stuck on this and anorher sniper game for 2 days now and am disappointed with it so far buddy but i know that there's a lot more to it😕🎁
Just watch a walkthrough on youtube and find the part where you guys are stuck.

If you mean the red dot, I don’t mind it because it still requires patience and accuracy. It’s not direct aim assist on the target. Glad you enjoy playing without it tho! That’s dope.

@CasasPlays personally, I far preferred the game without the red dot. I do recommend everyone to try it as it makes the game more challenging. I completely understand why someone would want to use it, though, as it can get frustrating without it

The shooting isn't the hard part of the game even on the hardest difficulty, choosing the order not to get seen or heard is... No shoot down, aim down mechanics either for some reason... Best playthrough is on hardest and do the sneaky. Really not a hard game, just fun to go around finding everyone and do it right, slow and stealthy.
Wow what a dumbed down game. Would be better if they actually made you calculate the distance.
You can turn off the red dot and wind compensation assistance. Regarding distance I am not sure. You can probably turn off that too.
