- The Voice UK is insanely competitive and a wonderful show, and I enjoyed watching The Voice UK, for the first time this season. (I always watch The Voice USA-and highly recommend it, too). But this brief excerpt, for purpose of critical evaluation, is really speaks for itself, in terms of the quality of the show. Good family style entertainment, clean fun music, and very talented coaches who represent a lot of diverse music styles (and who drive me nuts in how they go about picking the talent for their teams-its not like The VOICE USA where they do it in seconds...but that is what makes it so competitive-I think, more so even than The Voice USA) Definitely get this on Itunes, Amazon or wherever you can find it. I probably will have to go back and get the past seasons as well if they were anywhere as entertaining. You get to see the 3 semifinalists here in this brief clip, and the rest of the competitors join in as well. Highly recommended!

Jermaine really deserved to win and I am glad that he did win.
Christina Marie was far better and lived and breathed music. I really think it would have been better for her to win or even Sally. Regardless all have amazing voices.

Wow, I'm impressed! Just saw Jermaine's name mentioned to make an appearance in Guyana's 50th Independence celebration in the USA, so I clicked on the link.... I'm blown away. Wish I had seen his performances on the Voice UK. I wish him well... and yes, go on and be the first Black PM!!!!

I have never seen anyone from the Voice to go on and make it to the big time though, or am i wrong? I've never heard of any of the winners after.
I am going to be very honest with you-you make a beautiful point! I mean, there are few from American Idol who have done well, but if we are very honest, between all these shows, in all the various countries, the point you make -its not limited to just The Voice. And if we take this even further, the success in the music industry-a lot of people have one hit wonders, or one good record, or a few good songs...for every Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, or groups like Van Halen, The Rolling Stones, Public Enemy, Chicago, Journey, there are for ever one of those, hundreds, thousands more who have had some success, limited success, no success. a lot of it is not just talent, we have seen immense talent, but its about getting the right song, the right producers, the right marketing, the right writers and team around you. I think its lot like sports, I've heard great NFL Players like Jerry Rice say how there were many they met along the way who were way more talented, had way better skills, but injury, lack of dedication, bad habits, alcohol, drug addiction...you know, some people get a taste of success, and the fuel that was driving them, it goes out, or they spend their entire career chasing the next great hit, never to have it, or they have a family or other things that take their time. Some voice performers who lost were way better than the ones who won. I think probably the most successful from The Voice has been Cassidy Pope, and then from American Idol, Kelly Clarkson (way more success than Pope) and of course, Jennifer Holiday-moreso in acting than music. But that is not saying much, when you think of all the shows, in all the countries, all The American Idols, Voice Shows, X-Factors, America/Britain (and other shows in that line) has talent...really, its showing this trend of great difficulty.
There is a Karise Eden, the winner of The voice of Australia, I think she is doing good. And Christina Grimmie, died in a tragic shooting in Florida USA
Charles Lord yea Karise (love her! ) and Harrison Craig are doing well in Australia but i find with shows like these only 2/10 winners ever really make it or don't do well with the initial album release or the second album and then they fade into obscurity.
Margeh75 the problem is, all these shows have just become yearly entertainment just like the superbowl! So once we see you win, we shove you aside and wait for the next season.
