As you know I'm a tuberose fan, and I consider Nuit de Bakelite as my signature scent since it was launched, even if I own quite a lot of fragrances and change nearly every day. But I had a huge crush the day I tried it. I knew it was a unique perfume and a true piece of art. It took me 15 minutes to decide buying a bottle... Usually, I always try with a sample before. I'm still in love with it and just adore Naomi Goodsir collection. Her and Renaud, her partner, know what they want and can wait many years until they feel the fragrance is finally ready (it took 8 years for Corpus Equus, a true masterpiece too). Nuit de bakelite is a BOMB, 1st place in my collection in terms of performance but also in terms in creativity is also astonishing (not a fan of tuberoze in general but i like this).
Love it.This is what i call niche.True niche.I want to smell something original.This is not something that you´ve smelled in a couple remind me of perfumes.This is why I love this perfume.Or this type of perfume.Fabulous.
Scents with even a hint of leather was off putting to me for a long time, but this is the one that managed to peak my interest for that genere. Now I try them whenever I get a chance instead of avoiding them.
Lol, love the car story Pep😆 This one really is powerful and although I can appreciate it, I find it a bit difficult to wear if I'm being honest. Or du Sèrail is by far my favorite from this house... that honeyed tobacco is divine!
Sounds like an absolute nasal powerbomb haha. Love this review. I personally really enjoyed Bois d'Ascese from the house, and I think Julian Rasquinet's stint at Goodsir (and HdP) was a preview of how good he really is. Hope you can sample the new Corpus Equus soon!

Corpus Equus is my favorite from the brand. That one is also quite special, but too green for me.

Weed 😄 But it's true, I also find that tuberose can sometimes be difficult to get right in a perfume. Used to despise the accord in many designers.
