M Absolute favorite house!!!! Her fragrances make me weak in the knees! I fell in love with each one on the first sniff. My first Bois d' Ascese and my second favorite is Nuit. I want them all!!
I also felt in love with bois, but could not wear it, and corpus is a fragrance I really can wear 🥰

This is my 2nd day wearing corpus equus and I love it. Its one of the strangest fragrances I've ever worn but as it hits the middle to the bottom it becomes so beautiful. I would wear anything Naomi makes. I wore the cuir velours a few years ago and in pretty sure I suffocated everyone around me that's how much I love I could not stop reapplying
I own Nuit dBakelite and I love it. My husband does not so I wear it when he will be gone for hours. I don’t wear it to work, someone was saying that she smelled jalapeño peppers when I was near . I was surprised I liked the equestrian one, but not enough for a full bottle. I didn’t like the smoky one. Nice review.

Really enjoyed my sample pack from them. Or du Serail was the one I kept returning to. I like that it has the coconut/tropical vibe without being too sweet and trite. I need to revisit Bois.
I haven't tried them yet. But bloody hell I need to, they sound fantastic and "mysterious" 🤣 bit too early to start the shots yet. But thanks Sam introducing another interesting brand and the great descriptions. Smokey tuberose especially sounds like it's for me 😍

Thank you for this review! I have Cuirs Velours and have been wanting to try Bois D’ascese for a long time. I have a sample of Nuit de Bakelite, but having found the perfect tuberose that is Champs Lunaires by Rogue, I don’t want to wear any other tuberose. At first Cuirs Velours reminded my of Under My Skin by Francesca Bianchi, but more refined.

Throwing a bit of shade at Black Opium! I am wary of challenging fragrances, but I might have to order Corpus Equus. Sounds awesome. You might enjoy Geo F. Trumper's Spanish Leather. Similar notes.

@@MyWorldofFragrance Wow! Thanks for the recommendation. Just received them. Your descriptions were spot on. I understand why you used the word mysterious so often! They're all really fascinating. Just applied Nuit de Bakelite. Super interesting. Very very green, almost dirty tuberose. Kind of like you just cut a bunch of tuberose in your garden and they're sitting on your gardening bench. Really different than anything else I own.

A few other updates. Iris Cindre is difficult for me as well, though I adore how it smells. I'm actually wearing it now and it's a lovely smell but just difficult for me to wear. It feels so cold. Surprisingly, on me, I get a TON of animalic notes in Corpus Equus, as well as maybe a hint of hay? It truly smells like a horse to me. So sexually sweaty that I think it would be perfect to wear dancing in a gay bar or a leather club. Very sexual, very animalic, and beautifully leathery. Cuir de Velours is just a favorite. I adore the scent. Beautiful and smooth, easily wearable. They are really all beautiful and genuinely works of art. Thank you so much for turning me on to this brand, and to the fact that fragrance can do this!
