      4:57 he complied with not 1 thing the cop asked for.. if he had showed his license to operate and agreed to pull in a parking spot.. none of this would have happened.. as citizens we have to accept responsibility for our actions and if we are operating a motor vehicle, they have the right to ask us for proof even if we aren’t doing anything wrong like parking in the emergency fire lane at a public store after being asked repeatedly by staff 🤷🏻‍♀️ js

      Some DAs claim they don't charge LEOs with crimes because juries more often than not find them not guilty. I would love to say that is BS, but if you look into it, the few times DAs do press charges more often than not juries do find the LEO not guilty.

      @@sherylhyatt3065 to be honest, I was thinking the same thing, that perhaps DAs do a bad job prosecuting on purpose, but how would that help them?
      To get NGs looks bad on DAs and goes on their "record", not prosecuting I guess looks bad as well, but doesn't go down on their record.
      I now seem to think DAs that file charges do want to get a win, but their jobs do become harder because of things like the LEO's bill of rights (look it up, LEOs get special rights when they get charged), and the fact that average citizen still seems to think LEOs are great, and that LEOs ONLY step out of line when dealing with "bad" people.

      @@jseden I just think there's so many issues with this biased video. Firstly, a cop in uniform is off duty in name alone, he can perform all actions the same as if on duty. So that point is only here to make a point that isn't true(he has no authority bc he's off duty).
      It's also so tiring to see someone clearly explained what they did wrong, and like shout that they did nothing wrong or don't know what they did. It's as pathetic as screaming for your momma every time you get arrested bc you're addicted to crimes. That last one is a national hero apparently.
      The cop didn't need to pull him out of the car, absolutely 100% you're right. I think that's bad, he should've let him know quickly that there was no more debate that he move the car now or he's gonna be arrested and the car impounded. If he gave him 4 seconds after giving him those instructions twice I wouldn't have any issue at all.

      @ram89572 6 месяцев назад

      @jer280 Yes the taxi driver is in the wrong. No question there. Should he have been cited for it, yes. Should they have the option to just escalate and start arresting at the point we see in the video, no. And the reason I say no is because I fully expect at some point there's a chance that I run into an issue where I actually haven't done anything wrong but earn the ire of one of these oathbreaking thugs. Go to him, be official, tell him that this is his only warning, nice the car or it becomes a citation. If he doesn't then explain that he is now being cited for X crime or traffic infraction. Write the ticket. Tell him to move one last time. Then escalate as needed from there. At no point is a taser supposed to be used as a compliance device. I would be charged with a host of crimes if someone was on my property, I told them to move, then when they didn't, i tased them to gain compliance

    This makes sense: let’s escalate a parking violation to tasing a man. Where do we live? In Russia? China? This is soooooo scary. Omg. This man should be arrested and sued! This is literally the defining word of escalation.
