Your RV is really awesome for a couple without kids. It’s really spacious and comfortable, a home away from home. I like it and I love watching your RV travel vlogs. I am so glad you get to do lots of trips in it.

Great video we bought a new rv too! But we immediately had moisture and mildew because the outside storage doors were not sealed correctly! What a mess under our bed/storage unit, but we got them resealed professionally after the manufacturer refused to do so. All good now. Pick ur battles. We didn’t fight & just fixed it. We love our RV & I use it as my She Shed when parked at home. I have all the hook ups at home too! Like having another apt available for guest.

We discovered adding pool noodles to the bottom and sides to our slide outs and saves the bumps with your head when you run into them.

Purchase some pool noodles - Make a slice down them and When you are parked somewhere - slice them onto the overhang and the bump on the head will be a cushioned one.
for the overhang in front outside you hit your head on...buy some pool noodles and paint black or just leave it the color.. splint one side and glue to overhang
My husband has the same scrape marks on the top of his head, too! LOL Just when it heals, he whacks his head again. Thanks for the tour and the RV looks great! Hope we can buy an RV one day, too. :)

Love your camper. I wish we had gotten that type instead of our motor home back several years ago. I don't like having to tow a vehicle as now with the world as it is who can afford to drive a diesel m/h and repairs.........ugh.
Your camper is beautiful. Enjoy your next trip out and I hope you enjoy all the sights of the scenery as we do when we travel.........I find beauty in every state we have been in. Different landscapes all beautiful in their own way.

Your RV is perfect, but that space in the living area is wonderful. A lot of them have more of a walkway setup. I envy you but am so happy that you are getting to do this. I loved going to Disney and staying with friends in their camper in Ft. Wilderness. Two of the couples actually had large busses and WOW! I could have lived in those, but they were "wealthy" people in the group that used to go down there for the winter. The one couple was from Canada and they had a Provost and that thing could do everything but dance and I am not so sure it couldn't do that. 😄😄😄😄

Slide outs - Dollar store pool noodles. Slice one side slip on bottom edge. Cut 5 inch pieces, miter angle one end. Glue together. Cut slit and place on corners. Other items, check out the lasted video on KYD

We love our insta hot system instead of water heater. Most dealers can swap out the tank for the tankless system. Check it out!
You can use foam noodles for the overhangs.
You would think RVs would be completely customizable, if they maybe and I have no idea lol. I really want to RV after watching yours and Bonnie's videos.

TIP: When leaving a campground, put a bag of ice in the toilet. It will slosh around and clean your hoses out. Happy Camping from NC!!

Did you contact Grand Design about fixing your black tank lever? That seems like something they should help you fix. You can put a pool noodle or two on the slide out edges to keep from hurting your head. You just split a pool noodle lengthwise and slide it over the edge of the slide.
We did contact them, you know how that goes. In the end it's still not to our satisfaction.
@@grandmaandgrandpagriffiths4715 That's too bad. I would maybe try an RV repair place or maybe check out Big Truck Big RV's RUclips channel. I think he had a similar issue but not sure if he fixed it himself or if his RV company did.

Maybe when you get to your destination you could slice a pool noodle down the side ( like a pipe insulator) and then put it over that part that Chad keeps hitting his head on . Unless they were permanently attached they wouldn't travel but when you get to where your staying , may work great

Thanks for the tour Chad and Jennifer! My husband and I want to be where you are in 10 years. RVing and traveling as much as possible. We have concerns though. We are not very handy. I know Joel also mentioned that it seems like there are always little fixes and big fixes sometimes. My husband and I aren’t very mechanically inclined. Do you all think that we would be able to find repair places along the way to help us? We want one with the washer/dryer hook up as well. 😉. Any advice y’all could give us would be helpful. Thanks! ❤️
Best advice I can give you is to find a group of friends to travel with. It seems what one person can't figure out another one can. You really learn from each other.
I like that grandma Griffith wears hoodies. It's not common for older women. I am a senior lady. I wear hoodies all the time. I don't see it often. Kudos to grandma 👵 👏.

Does Bonnie & Joel own their own RV or do they rent one for RV trips?Does Ellie n Jared still have their travel trailer or did they sell it before they moved to St George , Utah to have their new home 🏠🏡 built?
We don’t have those in Australia only Caravans , Motor Homes or Camper Trailers.
You need some pool noodles to put on the over hang of your rv. They work like a charm!
Pool noodles on the slide out.
Slice the pool noodle lenghwise and slide them onto the lip of the slide. At least when you hit your head it will not hurt as bad. Lol
Pool noodles are great for a ton of things.

We will have the kids watch it for us.
Well, I think you did great with the likes and dislikes. However, a Washer and Dryer are mandatory for me and so is a dishwasher too. I like your Minky Couture Blanket but, decided against the bedding. So, eventually when I do get a RV we will decide on a larger 5th Wheel or if we can’t find one then we will get a Motorcoach with a trailer.

Another wonderful video from you and your husband! I always enjoy your video's and I am already pre-worrying (is that a word? lol) for you and your family while you do your mission trip. While I know that the wonderful God we serve will be your refuge and strength, as well as your protector, I am the type that says, "Okay, I leave it at your feet, Jesus" I take a chunk of it back as I am still on my knees! Maybe you all can say a prayer for me, lol. Sending prayers and love always to you and yours!!

Please be very careful with not hitting your head on the overhang. I had a friend at work hit her head on a shelf or her desk (can't remember which) and she developed a brain bleed and died. Please be very careful.
