    Being a frequent user on these lifts, proud to say that the lifts are still in service however the library has been refurbished. Also the students are allowed to use the normal elevator now especially overnight when the patenoster is out of service. Also, there is a third lift shaft at the back (which is rarely used) but only existed since 2015 when the new extension was built.

    Is the Paternoster motor at the Top or Bottom, My Guess is Top

    Quite nice to see a paternoster in the UK (Health and Safety).
    Oh and I know about three public paternosters here in Duisburg which I have not YET filmed.

      horrible health & safety board. The state should immediately leave this to the people. Good that a few lifts and paternosters did survive the unpleasant health & safety idiocracy

      Its in the Albert Soloman Library in Colchester University Of Essex

      I figured out exactly where this is. The University of Essex Albert Sloman library.
