This is a band that swore their entire career, they were Metal! As a product of 80's metal, Love & Rockets, Gene Loves Jezebel, Type O... do have to say, that is one of the coolest things ever seen. A few bands could learn a thing or two from these guys. Still. lol
I've often wondered why the album Vision Thing doesn't include this full version, but instead an edit with a fade-out. This version is hard to find. I guess it's the Sisters of Mercy being the Sisters of Mercy. They're not happy if their fans can find it on the first try.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The irony... But then, fact is ANY band appearing on those "Top of the Pops" type shows are miming to the recorded version, and always were. I think the BBC once made the mistake of giving Johnny Rotten a live mike on a live show, but that was a rare and not-repeated mistake!

I recommend another band, Type O Negative for a similar but later genre. However no music is going to matter if you sell your soul to the Lightbearer. The angel of light is masquerading as your friend, but he isn’t.
Happy 2022. I love the Sisters for a long time, seen them playing in Europe and Canada but for some reason the TV appearances in any way shape or form never reflected their Live shows. Almost looks like a bunch of Marionettes on strings. At one show there was even a drum set on stage..... go figure
Eh no....they have had amazing moments since then. Songs like Summer, Romeo Down, We are the Same and recently But Genevive and Better Reptile... Some of the huge festival gigs in the 00s...the exceptionally good Silver Bulllet and XXX tours.... And if you are talking about recording then what about Under the Gun or Temple of Love 92?
@@mccarthy5825 To be fair, "Temple of Love" was a re-recording of a song almost a decade old at that point, whilst the music to "Under the Gun" wasn't even written by Eldritch, but planned as a saccharine ballad. Even its B-side was a re-hashed version of "Alice" (although I adore it). Dylan seems - possibly - to have breathed new life into the band. I'll see how they are next year. However, at the time of writing, I still think that the last decent Sisters gig that I saw was at Brixton in 1993 (!).
