Great build! Was curious, what are your suspension settings on the front and rear and your weight and the bikes size? I have same bike and having some issues with the rear being super harsh. Thanks!

Im 6 feet-182cm, 155 lbs 70kg. For the air pressure I just used their recommended setting. For the fork I just put the 2 knobs at the bottom at the mid point, the top 2 are maxed out. The rear is bit tricky indeed, I don’t think there is a “correct” sitting, you just have to keep trying and whether it’s high depending on the trail characteristic and what kinds of feature and obstacle you are attacking. But in general, if you feel it being too harsh, there r a couple of things to try, 1 reduce the air pressure a tiny little bit, 2 more compression speed, if it feels harsh on small feature and subtle bumpiness, then raise the low speed compression, make it compress faster. If it feels harsh on big features, like landing jumps and drops, then high speed compression. 3 lower the respond speed, same as 2, high speed for big features, low speed for small/subtle unevenness. Start from the mid point and +- as you try. Just be careful, if you compressions r too fast and responds are too slow, you will be bottom out too often and too easily, but before it bottoms out, it will surely feel more plush. If they are all max out and it still feels harsh, maybe go back to a hard tail and get used to the harshness first, then everything will feel plush😂😂

@@karlxu782 yea I've tried everything, been messing with settings for almost 1 month but can't get the rear to feel right, I've never experienced this on any of my previous bikes. The rear is just weird, its so harsh my feet are blowing off the pedals on brake bumps. I'm also on a XL frame and I've read the larger the frame the more progressive it is on the top end. That's how Cannondale designed the bike, they made the top end more progressive on the larger frames to compensate for heavier riders, but if you are tall and light your basically screwed, lol and they paired it with a Fox X2 with a medium compressions tune which was stupid for a progressive rear. I think the only other thing I can do is go to a coil in the rear. Going any less on air pressure in the rear and I'll be pedal striking too much on technical trails.

@@MTBzine yeah, it's true, now when you mention it, I also did get a lot of pedal strike and BB scratching. I see lot of builds online that ppl swapped x2 with a coil shock, maybe that's why. Also by just looking at the frame, it is one of the most burly(if not the most) enduro frame I've ever seen, so I guess they did design it for heavier rider, also with aggressive riding style. This is my first FS bike, so I can't compare with my previous experience, but since you mention it, I do notice there are things that not behave as it should for a lightweight rider. Low air pressure causes too much pedel strick and, higher pressure causes the harshness, but I ended up with higher anyways, my lean weight is 66kg, but I had to use the setting for 70kg. and Just got off the pedel twice last weekends at bike park doing big drops.
