    Learnt more about wire rope failure in the last hour watching this video then I have in the last year.... I would disagree with the comments on lubrication though, particularly the reference to 'solvent cut back'. Many rope manufactures dissuade against this, given the introduction of a solvent also removes any remaining build lubricant, best going with a solvent free spray or drip feed... otherwise a great video #rsclare 😁

    23:10 (you said without warning) I disagree with the phrase as inspections itself are a warning if done properly and discovered

      Hi...good day i have quistion about to replace a boom steel wire rope of a crawler crane 40 tonner.how many meters i want to replace the steel wire rope?

      @@bertbayaton5390 you need to look at the manufacturers specification for the wire rope.
