Remember to always use the jib to place a hook on the ground and off the ground. never use winch. There are certain cases where you can use a winch but a good practice is to use jib

I have always been taught to go directly below the top sheave and then skip after to get your four wraps. I didn’t think it was good for the sheaves to pull from the outside over to number two.

Also what is that thing sticking out on top of that hook block like someone's left their tool on there lol? Is that a part of some hook blocks?
When lifting the boom out of the cradle you cant see the hook height, so that device allows you to see hook height over front of cab. Otherwise you may damage front of crane or usually u smash the front windscreen

Hi Del, when you say 06:34 "you have to turn the key and you can jib down further", do you mean the silver key next to the yellow "Enter" button on every Liebherr LTM computer? Is this silver key used to go past the chandelier and overhoist too please?

If you don't have a boat winch there is usually a pole so you can see the hook level when packing up hook to front of the crane
