  • 안녕하세요, Welcome to Korean Gem. In this lesson we're going to learn all about the expression -았으면/-었으면 좋겠다 and how to use it to talk about hopes & wishes. -았으면/-었으면 좋겠다 is a really versatile expression that is great to know when you are learning Korean because it can be translated into English in several ways including: “It would be nice if...”, “I would like it if...”. “I hope...” and “I wish...”. Because it is so versatile, -았으면/-었으면 좋겠다 is really commonly used by Korean native speakers. Listen out for it in your next Korean conversation or when you are enjoying your favorite K-drama.
