Thanks for the informative videos. So I dunno if you'll be inclined to answer this, but I'm an incoming GS student, I heard somebody say you can't do anything related to campus there as a dude unless you're in a frat, which makes sense given the environment. But given my age and that I'm a vet, probably I imagine I will not fit into this schema, because I assume frats are young kids who will not share my interests, as per usual, and so I will just go to campus for classes, feel alienated, and then take the subway downtown when I want to party. I assume this is an accurate assumption?

Hi! You’re so welcome. So it is true that most frats are comprised of younger non GS students. But, there are some GS students in frats so it’s not unheard of! And there’s a lot of clubs and pre-professional societies that have many GS students. So don’t worry about feeling alienated idt that’s what will happen :)

You’re welcome thanks for watching!! And Frats throw parties basically every weekend (like at least one of them will throw something ever weekend lol) and some Barnard students go all the time and some choose not to so it’s really personal preference! But there’s nothing weird or anything about Barnard students going to Columbia frats so don’t worry about that. For me I went more often as a freshman and less often as I got older but it really just depends how much you like going out/drinking/etc
